Which land do you visit first in MK ? And why ? :sunny:

PS : Toontown is not part of the poll since it opens at 10 am.

We always seem to go to Adventureland first...maybe it's because we're all full of adventure ;)

Well, I picked Fantasyland because that is what we will be doing on my next trip. I am going with my sis and her 3 kids so Fantasyland it is! princess:

But on my last trip when it was all about me I went to Adventureland :goodvibes So it all depends on who makes up my gang that day :teeth:

I went with Fantasyland. That's the one we went to first on our last trip and that's how we'll start next trip.

Better to get there and get it out of the way before the crowds get thick back there.

From the time of our first trip to WDW, we have heard, "Go to the left!" That is for shorter lines and what not. So, we "go to the left!" :rotfl2:

We have always gone to Adventureland first thing in the am. To us, others flock to Tomorrowland for the thrill rides and most people seem to head to the right. We hardly encounter alot of people going to the left and by the time we get to HM, its around noon, hot and time to head to the resort for a dip. When we go back in the evening we then go right into Tomorrowland and travel counterclockwise. Why? Been doing this for years.

We always start with Fantasyland because we always hit MK at opening (or EMH morning) and we can get everything done in a couple of hours with no waits. Later in the day Fantasyland is mobbed with people and strollers.

Pre-kid it was Frontierland to do Thunder Mtn. and Spash Mtn. or we'd do Tomorrowland for Space Mtn..... once we had kids though, Fantasyland was the place to be! :thumbsup2

We have always started with Tomorrowland, not sure why... just have. We usually want to be at Toon Town when it opens so we get Buzz and people mover and race cars and tea cups all done before Toon Town opens..

we plan two days at mk. one day go to tomorrow land first, the next we go to fantasy land first.

We're creatures of habit and ALWAYS go to Adventureland first. That being said, when we arrive IN 6 DAYS, we're heading for Tomorrowland to do . . .TTA first!!!! WHY??? I DO NOT know! My mother and I have been planning this trip for 209 days. Originally we weren't even going to GO to MK on our first day, but that too is a tradition, so we're going to "stop in" for awhile. When talking about what we wanted to ride first, we both said TTA at the same time!!! So, that's what we're going to do! Don't know what else the first day at MK, but then we're heading over to MGM. Ahhhh, the dream is so close I can TOUCH it!@!!!

It's like clockwork for us. We head straight to Dumbo and get that out of the way first. If there's one ride that I can't stand waiting for, it's Dumbo. So, we do it first then work our way around the Kingdom.

For me, it's always been Frontierland first. We get a FP for Splash, wait for BTMR, by then it's time for our FP, then we do Pirates and back track to HM. Last time we did it this way we had done all four by 11:00 am, which I though was pretty darn good. We always save Fantasyland and Tomorrowland for later in the day.

We usually start at Tommorowland by riding Space Mountain and then work counterclockwise around Magic Kingdom. I actually just read something that said that the above plan is used most often. :thumbsup2

This is a great strategy! If you don't mind, I think we may steal it! LOL :rotfl2:

For us (no young children) its adventureland first if you are there at the rope-drop. You should be able to hit Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Splash & Big Thunder before the lines get too bad. After that, perhaps Haunted Mansion or just wander around taking advantage of any short lines before heading back to the room for an afternoon break.
