We have dined at CRT for breakfast numerous times but never eaten lunch or dinner. And now that our youngest is into the princesses princess: we have to eat there! ;) Which meal there do you prefer and why? Good or bad much appreciated!!

I wouldn't do dinner due to the fact that it's not an official character meal. It has Cinderella downstairs and then periodically the Fairy Godmother and the 2 mice come out for a little Celebration show. They do not circulate for photos/autographs.

So for me it would be either breakfast or lunch.

I'm more of a breakfast person at WDW; don't like to stop for lunch.

I also am not too crazy about the lunch menu choices. So I'd go with breakfast.

Good luck deciding.

I had the pork at lunch last month when we went. I must say that the beef sheppards pie thing looked better and the guy next to me said it was delicious when I asked him about it lol. The pork was pretty good, but the grits type stuff that came with it was blah. My wife had fish and loved it!:cool2:

We have always done breakfast there (on almost every trip). On our last trip, we tried lunch and everyone really enjoyed it. It was a nice change. The food was great and seemed to be a little more "worth" the expense. We have ressie's for lunch on our upcoming trip, too.

Here's a pic of it, I'd have it again. :)

We enjoyed the lunch we had very much. 4 adults one child, 2 of us had the pork, thought it was yummy. 1 had salmon & thought it was great. 1 sandwich which was huge but nothing special. Our little princess loved her pasta & the ice cream sundae with the chocolate crown on top really thrilled her!

This looks SO good! I have been eyeing it on the menu. Thanks for the picture. Now I know what I am getting for sure! :woohoo:

No kidding- I've been on the fence about going because the menu for dinner wasn't terribly appealing. So for lunch I am going to try to get ressies for DD's 9th bday. :wizard:

If I'm spending that kind of money, and want the "Princess" princess: experience, I would go for lunch. The food was very good. :thumbsup2 We all got something different and shared.

Of course, your princess will need to be dressed for the occasion. We surprised her with her Snow White outfit in the Royal Dressing Room (aka bathroom). Here she is with her special slipper dessert.

Of course my teenage son didn't mind the attention he got.

I just made a dinner ressie and the CM told me that there would be princesses? Is this not correct?

Late dinner in the castle was my best dining experience at disney.... we got the latest reservations and only a couple of other families were there. we were the only people in the center.. and wishes started and they dimmed the lights and the entire room lit up from the fireworks.

It was in 05 so at that time characters were only out during breakfast...

The dinner was DELICIOUS too!

No, that is not correct. Dinner only has Cinderella downstairs.

Then upstairs, periodically, the Fair Godmother and the 2 mice will do a celebration show. They do not circulate for photos/autographs.

Only breakast and lunch have the princesses circulating for photos/autographs with Cinderella downstairs.

Oh my!! The food looks so good!! :cloud9: Now I think I am back to being confused on which one to do. :confused3 Thank you for sharing all the info!!

We have been to both lunch and breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast better...It seemed quieter (people may have still been half asleep:goodvibes ) and a little slower paced. We also enjoyed the food at breakfast more then we did at lunch. Just my 2 cents

I have eaten at the castle for all 3 meals

For Princess time - We enjoyed lunch better then breakfast but we aren't big breakfast people and it was a waste of money since the kids really weren't that hungry yet. They do better at lunch and dinner

Dinner was good also but you don't get the princesses that walk around
