No pressure, Ms. Bobbi, but I took your advice and booked 3 days at VWL post my May cruise. Got it at 7 mos. So excited!! I know you won't steer me wrong!!
How little are the kids? Would a zero entry pool be a benefit to you then I would probably pick BCV. Though you give up the boat ride or 5 min bus ride to MK that you have at VWL.
Personally I like BCV, VWL, and hopefully BWV(staying there in Jan) for our short trips. On our week long trips I like SSR, it has more of a resort feel.
We do this too. Each resort is the best in its own way and in certain circumstances. We like to weekend at AKV. Now with BLT - its no wonder we've ended up with 4home resorts.
We will be going in January. I was thinking BCV or BWV b/c it's an easy walk to Epcot but then again the kids care most about the pool (they will be 5 and 2 when we go). Thanks and keep 'em coming!

Too bad that we're not on the same cruise! I hope you enjoy VWL as much as we do!
Our 2 all-family VWL stays with our '09 UY will be in December and January '10 for the marathon. I've been hoarding our VWL points for those two trips, but we've also managed to get a few VWL nights also at 7 months. Sometimes we just go there to walk around, and eat at AP as well.
Well, for the studios with 4 people, I'd choose OKW for the extra space and two REAL beds instead of a bed and a hide-a-bed (plus it's less points at OKW).
For over the top resort experience, I'd choose AKV because you really can't beat the animals right outside your door!
My gut feeling though is that you will be spending a lot of time at MK, so in that case, I'd say VWL! Not only is it close to MK with easy boat access, but the atmosphere there is second onliy to AKV.
SOOOOOO....Depends on what is more important to you.
There are going to be lots of answers - the DVCs are each unique and offer a different experience.
If your kids are preschool and not string swimmers yet, I think you'd be happiest at one of the resorts with a zero entry pool - AKV, VWL, or SSR.
VWL offers a fun family restaurant and the option of taking a boat to the MK without folding the stroller!
AKV offers animals, animals, animals.
SSR has a toddler slide and water play area at the pool and is walking distance to DTD if you want to do WOD, Bibbidy Bobbidy or Lego.
BCV has a zero entry area at the pool - but personally, I'd have been stressed with really little kids at BCV because the pool is so big and complex.
