It depends on what you mean by year or what time of the year you are talking about.

Each WP closes for some time from around November to March.

This "year" TL is closed from 10/26/14 to 1/3/15. BB from 1/4/14 to 3/14/15.

They used to switch which park closed first but figured its easier to close TL during the Holiday season since BB is already decorated.

Next "year" it will follow a similar schedule but depending on what needs to be done the start/end dates may change and the date they switch over may also change.

I think last year the change over was a week or so earlier.

And if by swim the fishes you mean Shark Reef I have really bad news for you, it closed Oct 25, 2014 with a as yet to be defined future.

To the board has there been any news about it being a permanent closure?

ETA: this is the only thing I can find here so far.

Well depending on when they decide to close the WPs for winter all of TL maybe closed for refurb. :sad1:

Like I posted above they don't rotate what order they close the parks anymore. I found an historic calendar of closings and except for the 2011-2012 season TL has always been closed starting around the end of October.

thanks for the info, better to know now then be disappointed when I get there.

I have a question about the water parks, we will be there the first week of February, is it really warm enough to enjoy the water park then? We have only been one time before but it was during much warmer time of the year and I'm not sure if we want to spend the time/money during February if it is too chilly to enjoy. just curious, sorry if this is the right place to ask

The best answer is maybe. I would just wait until you get there to either add the WP&M option to your ticket or to buy a separate ticket.

Probably should start another thread with a descriptive title, but it depends.

Yesterday in southwest PA I was going out without a jacket and it was 60. Would I swim probably no. I've been to WDW twice in the end of February and the first time I didn't bring shorts and almost died. The second time it was much colder with temps around 40 in the morning the but in the sun it was much warmer than if it was the same air temp here and in the sun.
