Hi everyone. I am new here & love this site. I want to buy some park hopper tickets & also the quick & casual meal vouchers.

I have read different comments about these two sites. Which one would you recommend & why?

And, & I forgot about paramount. Would it be better to get the park tickets there?

We are going to Orlando for 11 days & then on to Daytona for 5 days. I am just trying to get the best deal possible to save the most money.

Thanks in advance,
Lori

connections (connections123.com) and dealpass are the same. You are redirected to dealpass if you go to connections.Lisa

Boy, do I feel like a dummy. LOL

Hi, how many days ar eyou going to the parks if you're going to be in Orlando ll days?

Over 8 days in the parks makes an annual pass your best investment.

herc.

We plan on going the WDW parks for 4 or 5 days. But we are also going to Universal & Sea World. And then just relaxing around a nice pool for a couple of days.

Don't feel so dumb just yet. It is true that Connections is now ONE of the services offered by Deal Pass. When you go directly to the Deal Pass website the program you would sign up for to take advantage of the WDW discounts (along with many others) would be Simple Escapes. The annual fee for this program is something like $129. That is significantly more than a Connections membership. However, Simple Escapes includes more discount (at places like Lowes, Home Depot, and more)

I was on the Connections site (Connections123.com) today. It has a link to sign up. In the terms and conditions it lists the membership fee as $79.95.

What does that mean? I think it means that you can still get a Connections membership even though Connections is now a service offered thru Deal Pass.

Not sure if that made sense. If you want to try and have a lower membership fee and won't make use of Lowes or Home Depot (or whatever else Simple Escapes offers) giftcards, try and sign up via Connections123.com.

The nice thing about Connections is they offer a 4 day park hopper plus. This is not available directly from Disney. The Connections 4 day PHP is a couple of dollars less than a Disney advance purchase park hopper without the plusses, so for less money you have 2 (I think) plusses to play with.

Thanks to all of you for your help & not making me feel like a dummy!

Connections, Simple Escapes and Galleria are some of the discount "clubs" on the dealpass site. Depending on which one you join you have the opportunity to get discount retail cards. Home Depot and Lowes are not part of SE. And looks like Home Depot used to be part of Galleria but its not in the website when I log in. Simple Escapes has restuarant cards--Red Lobster, Benningans, Olive Garden, Steak and Ale and some others. You buy the $10 card from SE and then they rebate you back $2 per $10 card purchased (20% savings). Retail cards include Target, JC Penney's, Blockbuster, Sam Goody--these you pay $25 and get a $5 rebate.
Galleria has mostly retail stuff like Taget cards, JC Penney, Toys R US, Babies R us.
We belong to both. When we joined they were offering bonuses. I got a $50 Wal-mart card for joining SE and I got some utility vouchers: send in grocery bill or whatever with the voucher and get the amount on the voucher ($15, $20 or $30).
With Galleria I got a $25 Toys R US card, a $10 blockbuster card and some utility vouchers as well.

Home Depot and Lowes are not part of SE.
Ooops, my bad. Lowes and Home Depot are included in a couple of the other DealPass programs and not Simple Escapes. Simple Escapes does include more retailers than Connections, but I'm not sure they would justify the $50 premium.
