Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, Pirate Adventure, Agent P, and Wilderness Explorers.

My kids (age 9, 6, 6) have never done any of these experiences and I think adding one or more might be fun for this trip. I've especially liked the idea of both Agent P and WE as that would really force the kids to explore the parks more, rather than us running from one ride to another. MK is always a busy day so I'm not sure we "need" either SOMK or PA, but curious about your experiences. Thanks!

Found Pirate Adventure rather lame. It was a one and done activity for us
Agent P is fun but not really worth doing the countries more than once each
Wilderness Explorers is DGD's favorite.
She's just now getting old enough to try Sorcerers. I think she'll really like it (I know I will). I hope to play on our long summer trip. Though I do find it rather confusing. Hoping it makes sense once we start

There is one more, I believe, Lion Guard at AK. Not sure of the particulars. It's new and we haven't done it yet.

I was thinking that my boys might be a little young for Sorcerers and think maybe I should save that for a future visit? (Though, my luck, they'll start charging for it, in which case my kids are out of luck.)

My kids loved WE on our last trip. They still pull out the books and talk about it - over a year later! They were 4 and 7 at the time. This year we are gong to try out KidCot in Epcot.

Not children but my brother and I did both SotMK and an Agent P quest. We found both to be pretty amusing. SotMK may take a little longer but we liked the pictures on the cards and it made fun free souvenirs. We actually did SotMK in pieces one portal a day until our last day where we took time out to finish it up. We probably have it to thank for why we spent so much time on Main Street.

I love SOTMK (as a 23 year old)

The first level is impossible to lose, and it's a great way for kids to run around the park without having to wait in long lines. They can pick favorite cards and use them exclusively without any penalty (the game gets harder/more strategic as you level up). Even if you don't actually play the game, the kids now have a stack of Disney cards to bring home with them - free entertainment and a free souvenier

Another vote for Agent P. My son loves it- especially the one in Germany. SOTMK is also fun, but I think he likes collecting the cards more than the actual adventure. We usually take several days to finish a mission, but get new cards each time we are in MK. Also agree that Pirate Adventure is kinda lame- but quick enough to do once and see what it is like.

We have not tried any of the AK ones so I cannot comment on them.

If they enjoyed Wilderness Explorers, you should sign them up for real-world Scouts, either Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. Check out BeAScout.org.

LOVE SotMK! Did it in December with my 6y/o DS. So much fun finding the portals and following the story. I'm going back without any of our kids in June and I'll be picking up cards for his binder. We di WE a little on our last trip. Didn't seem to really grab the kids' attention.

My boys are 10 and 12 - they LOVE Wilderness Explorers. They had so much fun with it last year. They also really like SOtMK.
Both of them are collectors, though, so they really like getting new packs of cards for Sorcerers, and getting the sticker badges from WE. They also had Russell and Dug sign their WE book :-):-)

If you do SOtMK, make sure everyone in your group gets cards, not just the kids who want to play - everyone can get a new pack each day, so if the grown ups get card packs too, there's more "weapons" for the kids to use to defeat the villains!!

I've done Agent P with 9 year olds; 1 boy and 1 girl. They love, love, loved it and begged to go back to WS to finish all the countries.

Next trip I did Pirate Ad. with 11 year old daughter. Very fun but hard to do on a crowded day.

Highly recommend both.

We really enjoyed doing a Pirates Adventure on our last trip. I think we liked it a little more than SoTMK. We did the Pirates adventure around dusk on one night. The effects really stood out in the evening and it was a great thing to do while the lines were still long.

My son was 5 1/2 on our last visit and LOVED doing the Agent P missions around World Showcase. I thought they were cute and fun, too. Totally worth it, IMHO. :)

Only familiar with Agent P and Sorcerers, and for your age group, I think Agent P is the better choice.

Our grandsons loved Agent P when they were in the 6 to 9 year age range. Now that two of them are 11 years old, they find it too "juvenile" but they now love Sorcerers.

Wow - this is great to hear! I can't wait to introduce them to these - they don't even know they exist! I love that WDW really cam provide entertainment for all ages. Will definitely have to give all of these a try at some point!

LOVE SOTMK - it becomes a free sourviner to bring home - plus can put them in a binder and use them the next trip as well.

I agree with a PP - make sure that everyone in your party gets a pack of cards - will give you more, plus doubles to maybe trade!

WE is one of my favorite interactive activities in the parks! now i love animals and my major currently has a concentration in the environment buts its also a really great way to learn but all of it while having fun. If your kids are the kind that like animals or being outside i would have to recommend it. The cast members who run it are incredibly knowledgable and you might find yourself learning as well!

My mom and i recently tried PA one night when we were looking for something new to do. It was a much shorter endeavor than we though it would be and could see why it could be considered lame, but we had fun and a group who are fans of pirates.

I've experienced all of these but Wilderness Explorers. Pirate Adventure I found a little strange and hard to follow: I found the clues hard to completely hear. Fun fact that's unrelated to my enjoyment, one of the clues sprays you with water. (I noticed the wet spot on the ground and stood slightly to the side of it. The spit of water (I think from a snake) flew past me. It was also pretty short with only three missions, but it wasn't too bad. We thought it was pretty fun if not a little hard to follow at times. (I swear I did like five laps around the Pirates gift shop before I found the specific shelf I needed.)

Agent P is one of my favourites: I preferred it as Kim Possible's adventure, but that might just be my 90's kid side showing. The clues are really cool and interactive and I found it a lot more interactive than the Pirate adventure. I personally loved Norway's mission most (it took our photo for a 'fashion magazine') but I also really love the UK's mission and Japan's. France is super fun as well.

Sorcerer's is odd for me to describe because I've only ever completed one or two 'levels' of it. It's really fun though, and once in line in front of me at the portal there was a dad and son who were beating the game: it looked really cool with one of the last levels showing up!

For a younger group, I'd probably go with Agent P, or even Wilderness Explorers based on what I'd heard. Sorcerers and Pirates are both fun for a try, especially since you get to keep the map/cards which makes for a super cool souvenir.
