Which hardwood flooring is best?

We have been looking into getting hardwood floors laid throughout the house except the bedrooms since we moved in. ifloor.com is having 4 years no interest today only and we are considering it. I just am just not sure what kind to get...
We have 2 kids (4 and 9) and I do childcare out of my home (kids all under 4). We have 1 dog (big time shedder -black lab) and 1 cat.
We need something that will hold up and be easy to clean up. I want something not to light, but not to dark either.
My choices are ...
ThHardwood: Exdura, Contractor's Choice, Saso, Woodstock, Westhollow, Unfinished Wood
Laminate: Contractor's Choice, Westhollow, Shaw
Bamboo: Springwood, Ming Dynasty, Westhollow, Woodstock

Does anyone have any experience with any of these brands?
