Which gate for Frozen Ever After?

We are visiting Epcot, not staying on property. If we want to make FER at rope drop, should we plan to enter the regular gate or try for the International gate? We will be taking an Uber to the Epcot or the Boardwalk/Beach Club.

I think the gates are about the same distance from FEA

I think I'd go with the IG, though I've never done it personally, because it doesn't tend to have the same crowds lined up as the main turnstiles. Maybe someone who has done this will come along with firsthand experience, though.

this is what I was thinking. I have friends that did this this past week they got there about 45 minute before park opens and say they were in the middle/back of RD. they had to drop of the stroller and they only waited about 15 minute to get on.

I knew Would see the famous map in this thread

from the map it looks like the two come together and if the back one is slight latter then you are going to have a big problem getting in front of the main group. also I think the CM will walk you so that you can not run when going in first thing. With this I would do the main gate get there early ( about an hour) and just try to be on the left hand side of space ship earth ( I think this is the right side it is late and I am tired,, but can not sleep)

also they do let you in up to spaceship earth before park opens.

We entered via IG during our October trip last year. Park opening was at 9, they let us thru about 8:40 and we leisurely walked to FEA while people were mad rushing and running with strollers past us. Wait time posted was 15 or 20 but basically walked at a casual pace thru the queue and walked right on. I have no experience going thru the main entrance at all, so it could be faster.

Toss-up.
There's no need to pay for a special trip to an Epcot resort and then make the added walk to the IG,
when getting to Norway from the front gates will work just fine.

Yes you're usually allowed to enter up until spaceship earth where they have a rope up

Once they remove the rope you just go. There's no CM guiding. Majority of people are walking as quickly as they can. Only a few I saw on my day actually ran

I was thinking of HS yes here they just tell you to walk.
