Which FP+ should I use at Hollywood Studios?

I know there are a bunch of guides out there for which FP+ to use, but I'd like some answers from those who have experienced it already. :)

I will be there on 3/10 and have quite a dilemma. I definitely want to go on Toy Story Mania twice during the course of the day and I want to see Fantasmic! There are two show times on that day, 8:30 and 10. However, I also have a dining reservation for Sci-Fi at 8:30 (couldn't get any earlier). As of right now, we have TSM, Tower of Terror, and Great Movie Ride as our 3 FP+ for the day. We will be there at rope drop and taking a middle-of-the-day break. We would also like to go on Rock N Rollercoaster twice.

Does anyone think we will be able to go on TSM & RNR twice while switching our FP+ to Fantasmic at 10?

Thanks! :)

RnRC should be no problem. We usually do the single rider on that one. Two TSM might be the issue. If you FP+ one and standby for one at RD, that will work. We have never waited more than 15 minutes for Great Movie Ride, so FP+ might not be necessary. You can certainly make 10:00 Fantasmic if you have 8:30 Sci Fi. Show up for Sci Fi about 15 minutes early and you might get in a few minutes early. Have fun!

So you think when we get done with dinner 9/9:15 we will be able to get relative decent seats for Fantasmic at 10?

I would not use a FP+ on Fantasmic. There is no FP+ seating section, so it is really not worth using it.

Yes, I did not notice that was the OP's plan. I would never use a FP on the later Fantasmic.

If you're not married to Sci Fi for dinner, you could take your chances on a walk up for lunch and make reservation for the Fantasmic dinner pkg. Then you don't have to worry about FP for Fantasmic AND you do get reserved seating. It also sounds like it's an EMH night. IF so, I'd do the earlier Fantasmic show then bee-line for TSMM. While other people are lining up for and watching the second show and leaving the park if they're not resort guests, you should experience much shorter waits. This is what we did on our recent trip and we rode TSMM twice in a row with only about 15 minute waits each time.

Ditto those who said to not waste FP+ on F! You probably don't even need the ToT FP+ considering it can be done easily during the first hour of the park opening, IMO.

Regardless, your plans look good! :)
