Which DVC resort is your favorite?

At BLT are you able to the roof to watch the fireworks at MK?

They have a members lounge at the top of BLT that members staying on points can go to nightly. They have cocktails and you can view the fireworks from the lounge. We never actually went up there but did enjoy the fireworks at California Grill during dinner. They stopped the meal and invited everyone out onto the balcony for the show. It was definitely a nice experience!

We own at BWV but by far my favorite is OKW!!!!

I chose my home resort, VGC....

On a good day, it takes less than an hour of drive time for us to get there from our home.

My excitement always peaks from the moment we drive thru the entry gate, hand over the car to the valet at the porte cochere & enter that gorgeous Arts and Crafts massive great room lobby. I'm in heaven & on once again!!!

It's beyond close proximity to not one but two parks... no resort in WDW can compare.

Does it prevent my urges to visit WDW again......no way.

I have two favorites...Old Key West is our home resort, but I'm hoping to add on and become a WLV groupie. There is something about both of these resorts that makes all the stress just seep out of my body the minute we arrive. There is just a peace and a relaxation that comes over me that is truly magical.

Something we did while visiting last May was to take a day and tour all the DVC resorts. We had such a blast checking out all the resorts and deciding where we wanted to stay next...

I chose Hilton Head because we have the best time as a family there.
The resort reminds me of all my childhood vacations in the Adiorondacks(the scent from the carpet of pine needles brings it back), it is our time as a family to decompress, relax and have a great time.

We also go to WDW every year, and if I had to choose a WDW resort, I love BWV because we can walk to our favorite park, Epcot, and also walk over to the Studios.

I just watched a YouTube video of Disney's Castaway Cay private cabanas. It made me think of OKW and how much I love it. Disney really knows how to make a theme work. OKW is so relaxing yet there is a lot of things for the kids to do. It really has a sultry tropical theme.

My favorite is the Boardwalk, for two reasons. The first is location. You can't beat the walk to Epcot or DHS, and having 4 other resorts so close, there are plenty of dining and entertainment options. Secondly, I absolutely love the theming of the resort.

BLT due to location! Location is really the key for us. With little ones, the walk to MK is perfect from BLT.

As kids get older, BWV/BCV will be my favorite - the easy walk to Epcot and DHS will be key then.

(which is why I own points at BWV and BLT)

If I had to take a bus to all the parks, or my key parks, I don't think I'd buy DVC - I could stay offsite and drive for far less $.

Interesting...BLT always had the lead with BCV second, but for most of the time since this poll, BWV and OKW were neck and neck and AKV was next with SS and VWL pretty much tied.

What I find funny is that now AKV and BWV are tied and OKW was left behind.

A first since I posted this poll on 2/11...BCV has taken the lead over BLT.

BLT has always been a favorite until now, even more interesting that BCV must really be a great resort, BLT was new so that was expected but for BCV to be a favorite, it is time for me to stay there

Of course it is possible there are more BCV owners than BLT since it has not completely sold out, but the information is definitely interesting. Thanks for posting. I will be staying there at BLT for two nights till my BCV room opens up and will be interested in seeing how the accomodations are.

I chose BWV, It is just central to so much. Even if you walk thru EPCOT and Monorail over to MK it just works better for us. Shawn

Definitely my home resort Bay Lake Towers because of the convenience.
