We are DVC members who will only be staying at WDW for one day/night following our cruise in February. We are traveling with another family who has really never experienced Disney (went once, had to leave after 4 days d/t illness). I would like to flex my "DVC muscle", get some really great accommodations and show them a nice time for the 24 hours we'll be there.
There will be 8 of us in total (4 adults; 3 teens; 1 child). Unfortunately, we don't have an unlimited amount of points to spend, so I'm trying to get the "best bang" for the buck (point!) Would you "go for it" and book higher-point accommodations in the BW area (GV = 108; 2 BR + studio = 43/54) with lots to see/do; or would you be more frugal with points and stay at OKW (GV = 51; 2 BR + studio = 41)?
Just looking for some opinions.....thanks!

I'm still torn between booking "location" (BWV/BCV) vs. booking point savings (OKW). We will be coming off a 7-day Western Caribbean cruise, so we may just want to 'hang out' and relax.....or we may already be very relaxed from the cruise and want to tackle a park. I think we're going to leave it up to how we feel once we arrive. How nice to have
