We did the QS plan - I love the flexibility and not having to plan ahead with ADRs and having to be in the right place at the right time. I'm not a big eater, and neither is ds6 - dh is, but on the QS we all did just fine - dh finished off our food if we couldn't :) We used our snacks for breakfast and drinks. We ate at DTD a few times (Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich) as well as at POFQ and at the parks. We'll definitely do it again.

We did the QSDP and paid for 3 TS meals OOP last week. We've done the basic DP twice before. Don't like being tied down to ADR's.

We liked the QSDP, but it was still too much food. On our last day, we had 20+ snacks leftover, and 4 CS meals. I bought dinner for 4 guests at the Roaring Fork before we left!

If and when we go back to Disney, we will likely just do our own thing and not be on a plan. We never eat 2 desserts and a snack or two a day. We were sick of eating. Plus, the portion sizes are HUGE and we could easily share meals.

One thing that irks me are the people who won't eat at Counter Service restaurants because they don't eat junk food/fast food. Seriously people, if you do your research, there is some GREAT CS food out there! I did not eat a burger, hot dog or chicken fingers all week long! CS at Disney does not equal Mc Donalds!

We're doing the regular plan. This will be our last year doing it as our older DD is turning 9.... after this year, she's considered an adult. For now though, you can't beat $100 a day for 2 adults and 2 kids on the regular DDP. They love character meals and I like to do a couple of buffets to get them away from the standard chicken nuggets/hot dog/mac & cheese that is at every CS restaurant for kids' picks :thumbsup2 I like to get some veggies in them too! :rotfl: :rotfl: The QSDP doesn't work for us as we're not soda drinkers and don't need the refillable mug.... we're good with water and I just can't have my girls eating the limited kids menu on the QSDP for the entire vacation....

As far as the Deluxe DDP.... omgosh. I can't imagine spending my whole vacation sitting down in restaurants to eat.... even a TS for every day is a bit much sometimes so we do mostly TS lunches since we go in the heat of the summer and it's nice to get into the A/C.... I'm completely full on the regular DDP and usually turn down dessert.... I can't imagine 2 or 3 sit down meals a day w/ an appetizer, entree, and dessert :scared1::scared1::scared1: Having lost 120 lbs 8 years ago, I don't want to gain it back :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We did the deluxe last year and loved it, but felt having to make reservations every meal in advance really kind of dictated where we could go...so we are doing the regular plan for our trip on 7-22 CSR

I will be doing the regular plan this year and see how it goes. Don't really think it will same money as we don't usually do desserts and snacks every day because we aren't hungry all the time. We will be doing mostly character meals.

I just came back on a solo trip and I had the CS. Before I went I looked at all the cs menus at the parks and dtd and made a list of where I may want to eat as healthy as I could. I was surprised that it could be done. I never ate what I would consider junk food. At Planet Hollywood I had the best broiled half chicken with potatoe and veggies. I will do this dining plan again. For me being solo it worked well, and I didn't have to worry about making adrs.

We are paying for our plan (leaving 3 weeks from today)! We chose the regular plan because we knew wanted to do several character meals but dont want to spend 2-3 meals a day sitting at a table. We are "on-the-go" people and want to see lots in the parks!

Hey Rachel, We are leaving 3 from Friday past....where are you staying?
