Which Day for Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon?

It's been about 5 years since we've gone to the water parks and I am trying to decide which park for which day for our upcoming trip in August. We are a family of 5: Dh, myself and dd's 17, 15 and 4 and have the Monday (24th) of our trip set aside for a full day at one of the waterparks and we have the Fri (28th) where we can spend about 3 hrs (we are planning to be at MK that evening--need to be there for a 5:30-6:30 FP+). I can't really remember all of the attractions and am not sure which park is more suitable for a full day for our family. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

I would do Monday. The water parks can be tiring or you might want to make a whole day of it ( go back to the hotel and then return), they are opened late in the summer.

I guess my question isn't really clear hence the lack of responses. I basically want to know which water park would best to spend a full day at?
