Which dates would be less crowded?

Thurs. Sept 28, 2006 - Tues Oct 4, 2006 or Oct 22-28, 2006. The first is over a weekend (f&w starts) and the second is Sun-sat, but very close to HAlloween. Help!!

I think the second because it is not over a weekend. F and W gets really crowded on weekends.

If you go by Disney's version of value and regular seasons, I would have to vote for the September 28- October 4 period as being less crowded. The great free dining plan was covered in this time period for this year. Also, I believe the consensus is that October is becoming a very busy time of the year, with fall break, MNSSHP, F&W Festival, Golf Tournament, and so on and so on.
