Hi everyone,

Trying to decide which is a better date to go Pros and Cons for each is appreciated.

Sept 4th thru the 10th - (the 5th being labor day)

November 20th thru the 26th ( Thanksgiving week)

December 18th thru the 25th ( X-mas week)

I would love to do x-mas week as a suprise for my DD who is 9 and has never been.

Honest opinons everyone!! We are considering CSR or the Poly.

The crowd levels at Thanksgiving and Christmas would make me crazy and the "Holiday Season" rates are no fun.

Labor Day is not nearly as crowded. It is, however, very hot and there is also the potential of a hurricane. All things considered, I'd probably choose the Labor Day time period.

If you could do early December, that is a terrific time to go. The decorations are up and the crowds are down.

September has the lowest crowds (except for that weekend itself) but the crowds will still be low as most people go earlier.
Novemebr will be crowded Thanksgiving weekend but after it should be fine - the wheather is cool so no pool but the Christmas decoration are up :cool1:
December
unless you don't mind crowds
good luck

I would pick September but maybe a week later if possible.

wdw does not do anything special for labor day - both Christmas and Thanksgiving they do - okay they may be during it because the crowds are there for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Thanksgiving is about as crowded as spring break (not Easter - much more crowded for Easter).

I, too, would vote for September (unless you can go the 1st half of December instead of so close to the holiday.) I agree with previous poster - money-wise, the best deal will be September by far.

We've been in September twice now & even had a visit with Hurricane Jeanne last year. I still wouldn't hesitate to return in September again. The crowds will likely be the lowest than your other 2 options & we enjoy the warmer weather. We just went this past January & never made it into the pools. There was a day or 2 it got warm enough, but we weren't near the pool at the time.

December's weather can be hit or miss - during our stay it was 80's the 1st half of the week, then down into the 30's-40's for highs our last couple days. If you can ever go during the 1st part of December, going down to see the decorations is definitely worth the trip! We loved seeing all the great decorations & going to the Christmas party at the MK (a separate ticketed event.)

Good luck in your decision - Disney is great no matter when you decide to go! :teeth:

I think I would go with December because of the decoations and events--and hope that the earlier part of the week wouldn't be as bad as later because a lot of people might plan to stay from Christmas to New Years.
