and the experience w/the dolphins was good??? also- you can stay at the Park as long as you want or is there a time limit (other htan getting back to the board in time)???

thanks for your input....

We have done 2 dolphin experiences at Chankanaab. Check out my trip reports about both. Yes, you can hang out at the park after your encounter. When you're done, you just go out to the front of the park and they will get you a cab.

We did the Dolphin Swim Adventure this time. It was the most amazing experience. I highly recommend it. It is the same as the Push Pull excursion through DCL.

We actually booked our own dolphin encounter this past March and found our way to Chankanaab on our own. It was very easy.

thanks...you did the Dolphin swim at Chankanaab or Dolpharinis??? isn't there an age minimum (may daughter is six)???

thanks again....

Chankanaab is an amazing place, so I suggest Dolphin Discovery. We booked on our own and I actually found a coupon code online. The cab ride from the port was fairly reasonable as far as price, it did take a little bit to get there though.

I had previously swam with dolphins through Dolphin Discovery in Hawaii & I had my son to take care of, so I did not go but my husband & friend did. They had a great time, they did the Swim Adventure (belly ride).

I just purchased the admission to Chankanaab for myself & found a coupon for $1 off online that I printed out & presented once I got there. Once there though, Dolphin Discovery said that my son & I could do the Encounter, but I felt uncomfortable since he was only 23 months.

On the website it does state that a child must be 8 years old to participate. I'm not sure if that is the same if you book through DCL.
