Which Counter Service in MK is open for dinner (5- 6pm)?

We will be staying at the CR and have AP tickets,
so I thought it may be fun to monorail it back to MK for dinner.
Like taking a quick car ride to the pizza place at home.

Which Counter Service eateries are open for dinner...

We do sit downs at lunch.

I am pretty sure that Cosmic Ray's is but I am not sure about any place else.

Everyone is open and casey's is the last to close.

Neither Pinocchio's nor Columbia Harbor House is always open for dinner. I was at MK one time when it closed at 7:00. About 5-5:15, I decided to eat dinner. Imagine my surprise to learn that those were both closed and the CMs were cleaning up. Both places closed around 4:30. Casey's was open and Plaza Pavillion. Also, maybe Cosmic Ray's (not sure).

In December, Cosmic Ray's was open only in the burger and chicken sections - the sandwich and soup section was closed. I would venture to guess that it's a seasonal decision as to which ones to keep open for dinner. We're going back in June and will check it out again, as DH fell in love with the soup there!

Here is a perfect example of NOT being open!

On our arrival day, my kids (6, 4, 2) and I decided to see the MK fireworks that night! That was making for a LONG day (up since 4am)... so... I thought we would hit MK about 4, do TTA and POC then dinner at Columbia Harbor House (it was Ash Wednesday hence the fish...) and sit for an hour relaxing before the fireworks at 7pm.

We arrived, me pushing the stroller (with 2 year old in it) and carrying my 4 year old on my BACK! Ugh! CLOSED! Now What? I was so confused! THAT WAS MY PLAN!!

So, we (me doubled over carrying every child in sight lol) walked ACROSS the park to Cosmic Rays... nothing to eat for us. So, back to Casey's for hot dogs for the kids (Sorry God ). I had some french fries. We barely made it to the fireworks but every time I mentioned leaving, they all screamed! Ugh...

So, I have NO IDEA WHY, a place to get seafood, was closed early on Ash Wednesday...

So, YES, they sometimes do close. My advice, DON'T count on it, but check it out.

We've done that while staying at the CR also. Especially when we're tired and don't want to stay out too late. Walk over to MK, ride Pirates and eat yummy sandwiches at Plaza Pavillion (waited 30 minutes in May 2001). Then we take our time leaving by visiting some of the shops on Main St. The best part - you're back in your room in under 15 minutes. Oh, and don't forget the tea (or wine for me) - in your refillable mug (except the wine) - on the way back to your room .

Peco's Bill's is open for dinner and it is our favorite place to get a hamburger in the MK. There burgers and fixin's bar is great.
