Exactly.The difference is that baker who may or may not know a thing about anything else isn't likely to be handed a microphone on live TV with an audience of millions. And in the event they wind up a finalist on "Spring baking championship", they're not going to use any of that time to talk about race car driving or gardening.
There are plenty of outlets by which celebrities can espouse their views without forcing them on audiences that tuned in for an awards show or all-star game.
I think no matter who you are you should be able to voice your opinion but I don't tune into the Grammy's, Oscars, etc to have you ramrod it down my throat. It's just not what the event about it. But post something on FB..sure fine whatever, say something while out and about and the paparazzi caught it...sure fine whatever. Wear a t-shirt with what your opinion is sure fine whatever.
