Apparently, some people think the recent cold weather across much of the US created fake snow.

You know, sometimes things are happening internally and it's not readily apparent. When Sam Kinison was killed they said he was up walking and talking and then just laid down and died. My uncle was hit on a motorcycle full speed by a truck running the red. He was fully articulate and able to tell them to call my stepmom, answer questions etc. but pretty much bled out internally. Princess Di was being driven by a drunk running from the paparazzi, her fate was pretty much sealed that night.

When I was a teen I fully believed Jim Morrison faked his death, that he just couldn't take the fame etc. Then one day someone said something to the effect of, "Don't you think if he was still alive we'd have some crazy, anonymous poet circulating insanely good stuff?" Made much more sense to me than him just hiding out, lol.

I believe there have been cover ups in many instances throughout history but I don't know if I buy that they are huge, many agencies, government, super secret, really involved cover ups. More like, "oh crap, we screwed up, what story can we throw out there to cover out butts" kind of cover ups. Like Natalie Wood, I believe there was foul play but it wasn't intentional, more like a drunken argument that had tragic consequences rather than outright murder.

I do agree with the Natalie Wood one, that was really suspicious

Just channel surf when celebrities speak. I do that anyway with so many things I watch lol. I hate watching gore in movies and if something horrible comes on or I anticipate an animal being hurt I turn the channel, may just surf, may just not come back at all. We all have that freedom, freedom to say what we want, but there may be consequences, and freedom to not listen. As long as the place doing so allows who cares.

Haha this is funny recently my husband has been ranting about Bigfoot lololol and then I find out he's actually listening to some podcast about it. I tease him about it. Not sure if he actually believes but he enjoys believing he believes lol. The Jersey Devil bc we camp in the Pine Barrens and one time we heard this knocking sound so he started saying that omg. Or now something called a "Beast between the Lakes" somewhere in Kentucky that looks kinda man wolf not wolfman but skinny weird lol. It cracks me up.

Yes I swear I had a conversation just about this that the cold weather isn't related to some of issues going on, it's gov, it's just crazy stuff

Most of the dumb things I see posted online are from Boomers - conspiracy theories, racist, anti-maskers, anti-science - that sort of thing.

ETA - Have you thought about moving out of your area to a better school if you don't like the science curriculum where you are?
