Which car ???

We ( 2 adults and two kids , 10 & 12 ) have always hired a Dodge Stratus or similar 4-door Intermediate in Orlando.

Anyone have any thoughts on, or experience of, a Chevrolet Blazer SUV ?? There's a great offer on with Alamo, and we can get it for £414 all inclusive for two weeks. That's £100 more than a Stratus.............is it worth it ?


Any thoughts or views most welcome.

Where did you find this price, sounds good. We drive a 4 door 4x4 pick up here and hate going down to a small car when we go to Florida.

You're on vacation! Get the SUV! We usually go for a people carrier, as we have a Chysler Grand Voyager here, but feel tempted to go for a 4x4 if available when we land at Xmas. (we've already 'booked' a 'full-size' car, but invariably haggle an affordable upgrade when on site)

I'd go for the SUV IMHO.

We just had a 7-seat Dodge Super Caravan 3.8L or something like that and the kids loved it.

Nice high driving position - bags of room for cases and shopping and cars get out of your way on the motorway. that is except for the Hummers!
