Will be at WDW late December and will be renting a car at the airport. I read about a car rental place that lets you "pre-register" with all your information and go through a different line that goes much quicker. Do all car rental co. have something like this? If not, which ones do? (we want to use an in terminal company).

Most of the majors have an express service program. I mostly use Avis Preferred. Enrolled by providing my DL number and a credit card. There is no line to wait in. I hope on the Avis bus, it drops me off at the car, the guard verified my DL against the contract and off I go. It saved me at least 30 minutes while in Atlanta earlier this week.

Most of them do. National has Emerald Club and Quick Rent. Dollar has Fastlane. Avis has Preferred (wizard #).

A very quick shuttle ride away is Hertz. They have the #1 Club. AAA discounts are pretty good.

At MCO, I prefer Avis because they are in the terminal (no shuttle required). Hertz requires a shuttle. The Avis preferred service has always worked perfectly for us. We go directly to the garage, no stopping at the Avis desk in the airport. There is a little kiosk in the garage with a separate side for preferred service. They hand you your rental contract and key, ask to see your driver's license, and off you go.

Returning the car is also quick and easy because again, no shuttle is required. You drop off the car and take an elevator or escalator to the terminal, without going outside.

Using Hertz is very quick and easy. When you go to leave Orlando you do curbside checkin with the luggage and then return the car. I never have waited for a shuttle with Hertz.

Curbside check-in is not permitted when flying internationally, which we do. So we've found Avis more convenient because we don't have to leave extra time to return the car and then get transported to the terminal from an offsite car rental company.

But for those flying domestic, that's good to know that Hertz is not as inconvenient as I assumed - thanks.
