We are going to OKW in a few weeks for the 1st time and wondered...what building we should ask for the best transportation to the parks.

We have heard at one time that bldgs 17-18 were good, keeps you from having to stand up on the bus. But our understanding is the routes have changed some now.

We will just wait til we get there to see what we can get but any advice would be great!

Im hoping we will enjoy our stay there enough to consider an add-on so I want all things to go as smooth as possible.

The buses stop at Peninsular Road first, followed by South Point, Old Turtle Pond , Miller and finally at Hospitality House.

We've rarely found the need to stand on a bus going to any park, but, in general, buildings 23-29, 45-56 and 30-44 will be closest to the first three stops and will offer the best choice for seats on the bus.

Here is a report about the <a href="http://130.94.75.33/showthread.php?s=&postid=1251562">OKW resort layout</a> that may offer some help.

Enjoy!

We always ask for building 63. It overlooks the water surrounded golf green as you enter OKW on the right hand side. Although, this past November, we stayed in building 13. Both are close to the Hospitality House, which means close to the General Store, the Gurgling Suitcase, the pool and their bus stop. About 95% of the time, this stop is the last stop unless you are returning from Downtown Disney/Marketplace, then it's the first. On this last trip, when the bus went directly to it's first stop, Peninsular Road, we (myself, DW and 2 DD's under the age of 7) got off and walked to our building (less than 5 minutes). I like those buildings for convenience sake!

I don't think you can go really wrong anywhere. If being close to HH is what you want, ask for that rather than a specific building, because there are MANY buildings that have good access to HH. Bear in mind that HH is the last stop, so that wil be the most crowded stop. That being said, I have never seen standing roomcrowds to the parks. The only time we see standing crowds on the OKW buses is when returning home after one of the light shows or at park closing.

Hi!
I've got room reports from lots of different buildings at OKW. Unfortunately, though, no one has commented on transportation to the parks from their location. However, there have been positive comments about the views from Buildings #17 and #18, also #63, #64, #23, and #26. There are undoubtedly some other Buildings with great views, but those are all I have specific comments on so far.
