Which Avatar ride are you picking first?

I am going for a week with my son and his girlfriend....which translated means i will be pretty much on my own!!....so i will fast pass the river thing and jump in line for the other!!!...cant wait!!

I made our FP+ for Flight of Passage and hope to rope drop Na'vi River Journey.

Then I was thinking that it would be a slow mover/unloader so would take longer

will be going for river journey. I have only have 1 out of 2 kids and 0 out of 4 grandparents that would enjoy the banshee ride, and only 1 day at AK.

If I had to pick just one I would be FOP. We have two AK days planned, so I will be able to FP both. Plus we are doing a 7 a.m. EMH day and hope to get them both in that morning as well. From everything I see in my June group the FP have not been all that hard to get. My FP day is next week.

Have you been to Epcot? If so, have you been on the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros and Soarin'? If so, which one of those was your favorite?

We are doing 1.5 days at AK, using our fastpasses for both days there so we did not have to choose.

No one really knows what it will be like to secure these rides until it opens. Then all of us June/July people will be freaking out when we see how we booked was NOT GOOD. LOL

I am kind of glad that we aren't visiting until August. We don't make FP+ selections until the 10th of June, so there will be some early reports on how the lines build first thing in the morning before we have to make our selections.

Yup. We're going in September so I'm going to be watching Pandora stuff like I was for FEA. I'll have til July 10th (my FP+ date) to get an idea. My strategy may not match others once we have more information once the rides open but at least I'll know if there's a pattern to the crowds and FP+ selections.

So......I went back in and SWITCHED from the boat ride to the FOP ride. Funny thing is.... I HAVE NEVER SEEN AVATAR. SO why do I stress over this. LOL

We are going for 10 days and 2 will be at AK so I was able to get FP for both rides with the River Journey being first. My son is 3 so he won't be riding the FoP and I'll wait to hear reports and see the ride to determine if I'm actually going to ride as I don't do "roller coaster type" rides and this may be one of those that I just can't handle. LOL

I'm going to FP River Journey first for that same reason. I really like Soarin', but the swoop upwards at the beginning gets me in the pit of the stomach every time. If the Flights ride is swoop-y at all, it'll be a "no" for me.

I'll have to see the Flights ride in action before I decide whether to ride it at all. I wouldn't have a problem with it, but my sister may not like it. She's petrified of Soarin' but does it for me because she knows I won't leave her waiting by herself while I ride. It would be too much to ask her to do two rides of that nature.

Well I changed IT AGAIN!!! I decided to go ahead and book fast passes on the Sat. morning emh AK day. We were going to wing it.....do standby for as much as possible saving our fast passes for Epcot that night. Then I got nervous and decided to grab the River Journey, Safari and EE. We will try standby for the FOP that day. I have a FOP fp for when we go earlier that week.
