The only downside with Disneyland Hotel is you don't get happy entry to Disney Sea.

I booked the two-day package that includes their version of LLPP, one day in each park, and tacked on a couple of room-only nights on each end. We'll probably meander around Disney Sea the day before the package tickets start.

Good plan! We had only planned for one day at Disney Sea, loved it and found ourselves adding an additional day there later in our Japan trip.

The package was definitely worth for our first trip. Back when we did it though it included the Fantasy Springs pass which was basically unlimited fastpass to any FS rides and yeah.. we took advantage of it. We went on Frozen 6 times and Rapunzel 3 times, Peter Pan 1x in one day just because we could lol. Planning for the first trip was a little overwhelming but after on our second one we managed to make it by without any purchased fast passes and had a blast.

We are at 700 points, our last being added in 2016 and we are done. Quite honestly, it's probably too many points and we may downsize at some point in the future. That said, it's nice to have some leeway for Aulani 2-bedrooms...
