Which annual pass?

Hi there! First, let me tell everyone out there who has given advice from my earlier post.....THANK YOU!!!!! We're so excited that we're leaving in just a few days, but we still have a couple of questions.

We're trying to decide whether we're all going to get the cheaper annual pass (3 of us) or if 1 of us should get the higher priced one. We most likely won't be eating at any of the table service restaurants (so the difference between the 10% & 1 time 20% discount doesn't make too much of a difference) & since we've spent the last 3 years going to WDW several times a year, we may not be doing too much shopping either (so the same difference in discount on shopping won't matter much). However, we might decide to spend a night or 2 at a DLP hotel (we usually tend to stay off as that is so much less expensive). My question is, what generally does the 25% discount equal to? Is this 25% off the regular rates only? Do they ever offer special room only rates that might even be better than the 25% off discount? I couldn't find any quotes on room only prices on-line. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we're trying to figure out if the 50 euro is worth it.

Oh, & we'll post pics of the Marriott when we get back!

Thanks again! Jacque'

You will not find the room only rate on-line. You can phone the annual passport bureau or if you are a shareholder the shareholder line to get special rate.
The general feeling is that if you are going for more than 3 days are will be returning anytime within the year that annual passports represent a saving.
With Dream passport discount is on counter service as well as table service. Not forgetting shopping :)

Cyrano,

I keep debating. I am going for just three days, staying off premises already booked. Is there any advantage to get lets say one adult annual and two childrens three day hoppers? I got the impression it would save 10% on meals. I think its about ten euros more (maybe more the price went up) any input? I am one adult and two children.

Hi,

yes that mighr work for you. If you are at the resort at dates without any blockout dates.

If you have already booked a package you can calculate it that way.

129€ ./. 51€ for the AP = 78€

So if you have a budged of 780€ or more for food and merchandise the AP will work for you ....and you can com back.

HTH
