Birdies! Flights of Wonder all the way!
I dont want to take over your thread but I hope you dont mind if I ask which show should we choose between the Lion King Show and Flights of Wonder?
Highly suggest trying it out now that it's got a theater designed with the show in mind. It is truly a spectacle. We never miss it. But we never miss any of the AK shows. We love them all.Flights of Wonder is a good show but it was sweltering hot the last time we saw it. Finding Nemo is Broadway quality musical theater with original music. In our opinion it is probably the best quality live show at WDW. We always see Finding Nemo. We will see Flights of Wonder if we happen to be close to the theater around show time and have the time. We have seen Festival of the Lion King a couple of times and weren't that impressed. Maybe we will give it another try now that it is in its new theater.
This is the beauty if WDW. There is such a variety of things to do that everyone can find something that appeals to them. I always urge people to try everything at least once rather than just going by what they hear from others. We discovered things that we really enjoy after trying them, even against popular opinion.
Cheers!!!
Finally starting to complete my plans but I'm struggling with Animal Kingdom. Mainly because we won't have the full day and there's a lot we want to do :/ I'm basically trying to decide if we should see the Finding Nemo show or Flights of Wonder. My siblings are of no help (one wants both the other doesn't care) and I'm trying to plan for the whole family. Parents, siblings and I age 20 and younger siblings ages 14 and 10. I've gone before but haven't seen either and Lion King is already on our list. Which one do you prefer and which one would you suggest to first timers?
Gosh, I never knew people didn't like Nemo. I think it's brilliant and it's a must do for us. There is nothing like it anywhere else.
There are bird shows elsewhere. Though we love FOW too.
Any reason not to do both?

Ah, makes sense. There is a lot to do, when you start looking at it all.Time constraint :/ We only have half the day and between the trails, rides and characters we've chosen to do that only leaves room for one other show. My pick was Lion King so that's already on our must-do list. Maybe if time is really nice to us we can squeeze the other in![]()
I guess I will have to give it another try. This is what always surprises me too, when I come here looking for advice or reviews! I actually think it's great because it really highlights the fact that Disney has something for everyone!I am really surprised by many of the answers here, since they are so different from the way I have felt .
