Which All Star Resort

I currently have a reservation at the Movies for my next solo trip. Was wondering which value you thought was best and why? I stayed at Pop last November and really did not care for it, so I'm looking at just the All Stars.

I really like Music when I stayed there (we were "on Broadway"!). We are staying at Movies next time, only because my kids love Herbie the Love Bug! I found the ground of Music very spacious - a little more so than Pop - but I did like Pop - except for the music playing all the time! I guess I'm getting to be an old fogey!!

I like Music. We've had two stays in the Jazz section. DD8 says she doesn't want to stay there again though, so I guess we'll check out Movies or Pop.

We liked Movies the best! We always pay a little extra for a preferred room so we are close to everything! We have also stayed in Music, and it was also enjoyable. However, we did not really like Sports when we stayed there, no particular reason.

Ive stayed at Movies twice and loved it there, Ive looked around music and sports and they both seemed more cramped than the movies.

We've stayed at all three - Music is our favorite. Actually we like Pop better than any of the all-stars.

Sports for the great theme and first on first off for the bus transportation!!!! The buses really get crowded, and when I stayed at AS Movies my family and I had to stand most of the time while going to the parks.

I've stayed at Sports but visited Movies. I like the styling of movies.

We loved our stay at the movies last summer. we stayed in the Fantasia building and the theme of each building and the giant statues are wonderful to look at.


First trip was at assport...did not have much of an opinion, was our first stay in an all-star. Only good thing about it is it is the first bus stop for the transportation.

Am staying at the music this summer so can't say for sure about this resort, I have taken a standard room, and I hope I don't get a room in the country fair building. Looks like a LONG walk to the bus stop.

As you know the resorts are virtually the same. Movies is the most popular, I think followed by Sports. For a solo trip I'd go with music, might be slightly less crowded.

It goes without saying I'd go with whichever resort had better rates.

I have to agree w/LewisC on this one. I've stayed at Music (2-3x), Sports (1x) and am trying Movies in Sept. (just to say I've stayed at all 3).

I've always found Music to be the best for adults. Put in a request for Jazz or Broadway!!!

We've stayed at the All Star Movies (Mighty Ducks and Herbie) twice and the Music (Calypso) once. I liked Music a bit better -- of course, that may have been the proximity to the pool and main building. It was also value season, versus Spring Break -- the lack of crowds really won my affection. We love the theming at both. My daughter wants to go back to All Star Movies and stay in one of the Fantasia buildings this trip. Tried to tempt her with Pop Century, but she has a bit of devotion to Movies (first trip to WDW was at Movies and the popcorn box light fascinated her; she's waxing nostalgic at the ripe old age of 12 ). We've done Coronado Springs (love the pool and the Pepper Market) and even the Poly (great rate with a cruise), but really like the feel and price of the All Stars. They are such a great value!!

I say Movies. We have stayed at sports which was fine but Movies is newer and I hear the all stars overall are in need of a refurb. Go with the newest of the bunch.
