Which airline - Air Tran or SW?

What are the plusses & minuses of these 2 airlines? Price being equal - which would you choose?

this may or may not help but Air tran has assigned seats Southwest is a bit of a cattle call (no assigned seats) if that does not bother you the big factor for me would be flight times. I live in dallas and SW is a carrier i use frequently and I flew Air Trans out of DFW Airport both has great service so after rambling it goes back to convenience of flight times
