Yes, it is different at SSR with all the stops inside the resort but it is nice being so close to DTD!

I've noticed that wave pool has some pretty crazy waves!! I don't think I would get in it unless there were just little baby waves

We have never been to TL or BB or DQ for that matter! I don't enjoy waterparks all that much, and the wave pool sounds scary!!!

I am not a big fan of waterparks either however the lazy pool was nice and relaxing That wave pool was scary!!! I will be staying away from it after my experience

I could float in the lazy river all day! I don't mind the wave pool, but it's not my fav at a waterpark.

I LOVE, love DTD! I could just wander and wander. There is so much to take in. I think WP is on my wish list as well We haven't done DQ, but maybe someday if it appeals to Kadence as we aren't gamers.

Oh, I'm a bit bummed we didn't spend more time at DTD as I agree it is a great place to just wonder and explore. Oh, you definitely have to try WP...it was very yummy! I didn't enjoy DQ but Zaheer loved it, however he enjoys arcade games in the UK as well.

Sorry about your mishap in the wave pool at TL, seems like you had fun on the other things you did. I really like those family raft rides, I was disappointed we didn't do that at BB when we went.

Thanks - lets just say that is not an experience I want to repeat in a hurry! We went on the BB one later on and actually preferred that to the TL one. It was great. I hope you get to experience it on a future trip.

Oh, that stinks about the wavepool at TL. It's definitely something that you have to get used to. I've been knocked down several times in it.

It was bad that we got caught in the downpour however it was still a fun way to spend the day.

I was a bit but it didn't feel like we were running around as we were doing my favourite hobby - shopping!

Ooh I'm looking forward to hearing all about the treehouse villas. I think the bus ride probably won't be that bad once you get used to it. It's just that we weren't used to a bus roaming within the resort as at Pop it was just one bus stop.

Yeah, we enjoyed our time at DTD Thanks, I'm glad I chose them and they went very nicely with the Minnie dress I had bought for Halloween.

Thanks! DTD more than made up for it especially as I got to spend some time shopping! It was delish but I preferred the cheesecake...that was divine!

Oh, I thought it was just me because I wasn't used to buses roaming within a resort however am glad to read other people hate the buses as well!!

The shopping was definitely fun and I love those ears. I have them sat on my dressing table so get to see them every morning to brighten my day

I'd try and keep them away for a little but longer as you are right in that once they enter DQ you will lose them for good!! Zaheer was the same...most nights when he could he would go to DTD just to have some fun at DQ...oh well at least one of us got our moneys worth out of the tickets for here.

We've not been to Typhoon Lagoon since 2000. I remember the first time going in that Wave pool...it is definitely something you have to get used to.
It's funny, but then not funny, that all those people left the slide because it was raining. Hello...you are at a water park...you are going to get wet!

I still have a small scar on my foot from TL in August

I love spending time at DTD...I prefer early morning visits than evening, I find the crowds crazy in the evenings. We started doing DTD in the mornings of our pool days and it worked out great!!!

Those waves at TL can be scary. That is too bad the rain put a damp on your time in the water park. It happened to me once at Blizzard Beach and it is not fun.

I love the pictures at DTD. It is such a cool place to hand out AND that food from WPE looks amazing.

Thanks - I agree in that the lazy river at TL sure is the best! I could happily spend all day in it. However that is definitely not the case with the wave pool That's what Zaheer said and I believed him...more fool me! It's not pretty is it...am sure my nail will fall off before getting better.

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Sorry I have been absent for the last couple of days but Saturday was bonfire night so I went to a fireworks party. Obviously it wasn't the same as the fireworks at Disney but we still had a great time.

Yesterday was Eid so I spent the day stuffing my face and spending time with friends/family.

I am putting a new update together and hope to have it up later today/tomorrow at the latest. However, in the meantime I thought I would explain the second half of my title. It is hard but I suppose it has to be done. Well, it relates to something personal and is what makes the trip bittersweet. Zaheer and I are no longer together - we had made this decision before our trip however still decided to go ahead with the trip for memories sake. We had a great time and I wouldn't change a thing...well I might have made a couple of minor changes but on the whole it was an amazing time! We are and will remain friends for a long time however know that in the long run we have made the right decision. I believe everything happens for a reason and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...eventually!! If you are friends with me on facebook I would appreciate if you did not mention this news over there for now.

Also I want to say a massive thank you to Queen for helping me through the last few months...you have been amazing hun Thank you so much for all your help/support.

I suppose I should also update on a future trip as I have made a final decision. Unfortunately I will not be returning in 2012 - you do not know how many times I priced a possible trip and was tempted to press book now. However, I would be using a huge chunk of my savings and do not feel comfortable doing this. Instead I am going to use 2012 to turn my life around and look for a permanent job so that in 2013 my sister and I are able to stay at a deluxe resort!

I hope everyone is having a great start to their week and will have a trip related update posted very soon
