Sure miss River country, after the big water parks opened it was like having a huge pool area just for Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. It was included in your LOS pass. As for the next resort have to agree with all the other posts DL then Contemporary, after that it's all speculation. DisneyLand Hotel would make great DVC Villas with a little renovation of common areas, rooms are pretty good size so they would not lose to many rooms making suites. How soon can we book?Disney is following a pattern of using existing infastructure to build new DVC's. Seems like DL and The Contemporary make sense. Where else in WDW is there existing infastructure in an underutilized area? Answer: The old River Country! I can see it now. The River Country Villas.HBC

I'd say to look where the physical signs are. There are pics of two properties having some kind of work done. The demolition at the Contemporary, and the marking off of land/ tree tagging at one end of the Grand Californian.
Has everyone read the rumors of a new Del Coronado themed hotel at DLR, approximately located in the NE corner of the DCA park? It is supposed to also have its own private enterance to DCA and, although not specifically mentioned, I do notice that the existing monorail line runs right through that area.......![]()
Would be pretty cool. No mention of DVC but of course with all the DVC selling going on at DLR these days, it only makes sense.
Wow... I hope this doesn't come across like I am being a jerk but is there an acronym dictionary? Seriously, I'm lost!
