Does anyone have any good rumors? Animal Kingdom is great! Where are they going next?

I'm in the minority here, I'm actually looking forward to it being completed, but everything is pointing to the next DVC being at The Contemporary. Demolition has already begun at the North Wing. Just do a search and you'll find all kind of information.

I think it will honestly be off WDW property, likely a DL resort.
Next WDW (down the road 1-2 years plus) is likely Contemporary Villas.

General consensus is it will be at Disneyland.

Then followed next by Contemporary.

Althought there is some indication Eagle Pines may be developed after all.

These are all conjecture based on heresay. DVC has not announced anything formally.

Disney is following a pattern of using existing infastructure to build new DVC's. Seems like DL and The Contemporary make sense. Where else in WDW is there existing infastructure in an underutilized area? Answer: The old River Country! I can see it now. The River Country Villas.;)

Never thought I would say this but DVC at DL is looking mighty good to us now that our DS and DDIL (living in Riverside) have made us grandparents.

I'd say to look where the physical signs are. There are pics of two properties having some kind of work done. The demolition at the Contemporary, and the marking off of land/ tree tagging at one end of the Grand Californian.

Sure miss River country, after the big water parks opened it was like having a huge pool area just for Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. It was included in your LOS pass. As for the next resort have to agree with all the other posts DL then Contemporary, after that it's all speculation. DisneyLand Hotel would make great DVC Villas with a little renovation of common areas, rooms are pretty good size so they would not lose to many rooms making suites. How soon can we book?

my guess is at disneyland. it already has been posted on miceage. for you people that know miceage they dont report something unless they are pretty sure its going to happen

Since AKV has been announced, it might be Grand Californian then Contemporary... but wouldn't it be great if they were built and announced at the same time?

Thanks everyone for your responses! Very interesting...

How about DIV?????

(Discovery Island Villas) nothing happening over there these days!

Has everyone read the rumors of a new Del Coronado themed hotel at DLR, approximately located in the NE corner of the DCA park? It is supposed to also have its own private enterance to DCA and, although not specifically mentioned, I do notice that the existing monorail line runs right through that area.......:thumbsup2

Would be pretty cool. No mention of DVC but of course with all the DVC selling going on at DLR these days, it only makes sense.

they are tree tagging at GC - very interesting....;)

This is just a wish , but wouldn't it be great if they announced a DVC resort at DL when the magic comes to the west coast in 2008? I'm just waiting for my add on in Ca.:cheer2: :cheer2:

Wow... I hope this doesn't come across like I am being a jerk but is there an acronym dictionary? Seriously, I'm lost!

I think announcements in this order:

Disney's Grand Californian Villas

Villas at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Something at Disneyland Paris
