Ive just got back from Alice in wonderland 3D
Its a good film, but it maybe to dark for some peoples liking
The 3D is ok,not up to the standards of Avater.but nice and clean looking, the young lady that plays alice(Mia Wasilowska) is great, and so are some of the smaller charactors.
But i was let down by jonny depp, looks great,he looks alot like madonna in Drag, lol.
For some reason, when the mad hatter gets angry he starts to speak in a scottish accent, and it did not work for me.
(Helena Bonham Carter)As the red queen was great,(Crispin Glover)As Stayne-Knave of hearts, was so wooden that he made Ashton Kutcher look like a good actor,(Stephen Fry)as Cheshire cat was very good as well as (Matt Lucas) as Tweedledum and tweedledee.
I will say this,if you have children under the age of 6/7,it might be a bit to much for them, its very dark in places, and not as light hearted and fun as the trailer shows.
but its a new take on a classic story.
