Where you ever given a Monrail Co-Pilot License?

My hubby and I have received the Monorail Pilot License on two different occasions. I just love them, and they make a neat momento for the scrapbook!

sometimes the pilots are just SOOOO grumpy.. dont talk to you, are monosolabic in their answers to questions... almost like its an inconvenience to have people in his little pod!

The women pilots have always been fine, but some of the men.. you wanna shout at that.. "THIS IS DISNEY! ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN!"
You are so right about that! The first and only time we rode up front, the pilot was beyond crabby...as if you should be punished for encroaching on his little kingdom. DH and I just laughed about him when we got off.

My DS was completely oblivious, though. He loved the ride!

So no, he didn't give us a license when we got out...we were lucky that he didn't give us a swift kick in the butt.

You know when we got in the front our driver seemed pretty crabby to. Not smiling or really even speaking but I did say a couple of things to him (nice things, lol) and he seemed to loosen up and ended up somewhat "happier" by the end of our ride and he is the one that gave us the certs.

We have ridden up front several times. On one of our trips we were given the co-pilots license. They gave them to all 4 of us, my 2 kids and us grown ups. My kids are just so happy to ride up front, they don't really care if they get one or not.

We have ridden up front in total maybe 4 times, but no certificate. We have 3 kids, and they would only allow 4 people in front, so either my DH or I had to ride elsewhere. Just one more thing at Disney designed for the "family of four". :confused3 Oh well, it was a wonderful experience, and my DH videotaped it once, so we can pop the tape in and ride in the front of the monorail whenever we want. LOL

I've ridden up front a number of times, but I think my honeymoon was the only time they had licenses to give out. I have mine and DH's with all our honeymoon memorabilia. :teeth:

DD rode up front on her birthday. She was not given a license and the pilot acted like we weren't even there. It was very strange.

A few days later, DH, BIL and both of our kids rode up front again. Pilot was grumpy, didn't talk to them and they got no license.

Hopefully some day we will get a friendly driver!

We have sat up front on several different trips. Only got them that one time. On our last trip I saw them sitting there near the pilot. I guess they pick and choose when they give them out.

We rode in front in June 99 (me, DH, DS age 12) and we each received our "license". The ride up front from EPCOT to TTC was a nice suprise. We had just barely missed the monorail. The attendant told us to wait to the side. When the next monorail came in, he ushered us to the front! Our driver was not very talkative. But the view was wonderful. We also received a bus license on that trip!

Yes, I have one from when I was younger and now my son has one along with a bus driver and a boat captian.
