Hello!

I am having trouble making my last ADR. Here is the scenario hope you can help!

We are staying at the beach club we should arrive at the hotel around 12 or 12:30pm. Where do you suggest we go for lunch..keep in mind we also have reservations that night at CRT at 6:55pm. We have the park hopper pass so a restaurant in EPCOT is also an option.

any suggestions would be awesome. I don't want anyone to be too stuffed for our dinner at 7 which we already paid for but I am sure we are going to be starving considering we will have been up since 5 am to get to the aiport on time.

any thoughts.

thanks!

We love eating at Beachs n' Cream at the Beach Club. They have great burgers and their onion rings are the best! Good ice cream too! That way after you arrive, you don't have too far to go before you eat!

I also vote Beaches n Cream. We stayed at BWI on our last trip and had a nice late lunch here on our arrival day. :goodvibes

We also love B & C, but if you want to eat even lighter, you may just want to get a salad or sandwich at the Market Place or Hurricane Hannahs.

We've had good lunches at Rose and Crown at EPCOT. That may be an option as well.

Such great food and so close by! But they don't take adr's so you might have to wait awhile.

You could also walk over to Boardwalk and grab a slice of pizza or a hot dog to hold you over until dinner. There are several a la carte selections, so everyone in your party could get what they want.

However, as I am typing this - if you have a 6:55 ADR at CRT, you most likely won't be eating until close to 8:00 PM. I wouldn't worry to much about filling up and ruining your appetite for dinner. With that said, you might try some of the counter service options at Epcot WS. When we were there in February, my husband said he wanted to come back and get a few small things from several different countries. Might be something fun for your first afternoon!:)

Big River Grille and Brewing Works at the Boardwalk. They have great burgers and beer.

If my family were to arrive at BCV around lunchtime...we would throw on our swim suits, grab some lunch at Hurricane Hannah's, & hang by the pool until our room was ready.

If fact, that is exactly what we did last July when we did a split stay (Dolphin & BCV).

We really like the specialty type sandwiches (roast beef and brie - mmmmm) or salads from the refridgerated case at the marketplace. Some can eat full meals both lunch and dinner, but we do better with smaller meals so we'd split something at lunch anyway if CRT was coming that night. We also like the Spoodles Pizza window on boardwalk for a "glorified snack" or CS meal. If you don't need to worry about too many sweets, Boulangerie Patisserie (sp?) is just through the International Gateway and to the right in Epcot at France - a pastry and coffee would hold be 'til dinner and would be a great "welcome to WDW treat," while the kids shared a ham and cheese croissant. This would be plenty of calories to hold you over, but wouldn't bulk up your stomachs with food. We have enjoyed Beaches N Cream, but I personally wouldn't start vacation with burgers and icecream as I know I'll see more of that than I would ever normally want in the coming vacation week. ;)
DH prefers to "snack" on a black and tan (some call it half and half) to go from the UK pub in Epcot - kids could get fish-n-chips next door at Harry Ramsden's...

Just curious? If my reservations for CRT are for 6:55 we will not be eating until 8pm..I never heard this before? :confused3 I know you have to wait to take a picture with Cinderella...but If we got to our adrs 15 minutes before hand would that solve the problem...
is this everyone's experience with CRT?

When I read the comment about not eating until 8 PM I had the exact same thought :confused3 I do not agree with this at all. You will most likely be seated fairly quickly and you will be served in a timely manner. Disney's restaurants and CRT in particular are not designed for lingering over long meals.
Our arrival afternoon lunch is always from one of the International CS places in Epcot. We like the Cantina in Mexico and last year we tried the Sommerfest in Germany. It was a hot dog on a great roll, desert and of course a cold frosty beer. It was just perfect, not too much and very satisfying, I was skeptical I would like it and I did. I would recommend this.
Have a Great Trip.
