Where would we go?

We are booked on the Eastern to San Juan on September 4, 2004. I booked a Cat 3 because there is 5 of us. Anywho....where would we go for the safty drill?? Is it Animators? I thought Cat.3 and up got to stay inside for the drill. The reason I'm asking, we are taking my grandmother with us...only 60 but she had MAJOR surgery and since then, she can't take really hot humid weather. And we all now how horrible it is to stand out there for 20 minutes or so. Thanks for all your help!.....oh by the way, our room will be 8532.

Let DCL know about your grandmother. They should be able to make some sort of arrangment.Just to be on the safe side a letter from her doctor may be a good idea.

RellingTwin's advice is sound; I'd take it... BUT...

I believe all cat 3's and most of deck 8 aft go to Animator's anyway, so you should be fine. We were there last year when we stayed in cat 3, #8102.

May I respectfully ask why someone who can't handle heat and humidity would WANT to go on a tropical cruise? Plenty to do inside I guess, but won't she feel couped up? Will she be able to go ashore at Castaway Cay? Just curious!

..to asnwer your question.. she can go outside, she just can't do strenoius activity because she has a harder time breathing. We picked the Eastern because its much much breezier then the western. We are planning on doing beach excursions so she will be fine! Thanks for your concern. As far as Castaway......SHE WOULD NOT MISS IT!!!!!!!!! (nothing like a relaxing day at Serenity Bay)

It is not just some cabins on Deck 8 that have safety drill inside....we were in a Cat 9 twice on Decks 1 and 2 and were in in the Walt Disney Theatre.

Where you go for the safety drill depends upon where your room is located, not how much you paid for it

We were in a cat 3 (8048) last year and our muster station was about the middle of deck4 (outside).
