I am hoping for a Yosemite National Park in Northern California vacation.

We are usually big Disney park people but this year I am hoping for:
1. Seeing the giant redwoods seeing if my family of five and hold hands around one of them.
2. Half Dome
3. Yosemite Falls
4. Awahnee
5. Golden Gate Bridge
6. San Francisco
7. Monterey and the 17 mile drive
and who knows maybe a lil trip down to Anaheim?

So far DH and I have a trip planned solo to visit St. Lucia in March.

(We did a family trip to WDW in October)

I'd really like to go to WDW or the Carribbean in the fall with the kids, but we're at a wait and see right now.

I'll be spending a week at the WL when I turn 50 in March.

But the big trip will be a 6 week cross country trip starting at the end of March.

Knoxville
Nashville
New Orleans
Houston
Austin
San Antonio
Carlsbad
Flagstaff
Grand Canyon
Las Vegas
Los Angeles
San Luis Obispo
Yosemite(I'll be staying at the Yosemite Lodge near the falls)
San Francisco
Lake Tahoe
Salt Lake City
Denver
Topeka
St Louis
Chicago
Detroit
Niagara Falls
Ottawa
Montreal
Bar Harbor
Boston
then home to Baltimore

It'll be a great way for me to celebrate turning 50. :woohoo:

St Lucia in February with my hubby
Disney World with the kids in early Oct

Shelby

RCCL Liberty of the Seas cruise to celebrate our 45th anniversary April/May. :lovestruc

Other than that, we'll have to see how finances hold out, and if investments bounce back. ;)

Bahamas OR a dude ranch in NM, or Wyoming....

Possibly a trip to Myrtle Beach

Vegas in February.

WDW in May for a long weekend to see our youngest play at Disney.

New York at either Thanksgiving or Christmas

It's our 25th anniversary this year and we have a ton of frequent flyers/rewards to use. I would like to go ahead and cash them in now - with the credit markets the way they are, I wouldn't be surprised if they start eliminating the rewards programs. With that in mind, we're thinking of:

- Mediterranian Cruise
- Alaska Cruise
- Hawaii

As I've mentioned in other threads, DH is self-employed and is nervous about losing customers if he takes a vacation so....instead of taking a couple of 2 week vacations every year, we take off a long weekend every month. That means we stay pretty close to home on our monthly mini-vacations. Right now our tentative schedule looks like this:

January: WDW

February: Florida Panhandle to visit relatives

March: WDW to see Davy Jones and St Augustine to see Bonnie Raitt.

April: Jacksonville Beach for the Springin' the Blues Festival.

May: St Augustine

June: St Augustine

July: St Augustine

August: St Augustine

September: Epcot for the opening of the Food and Wine Festival!

October: WDW

November: WDW

December: WDW

Yeah, we're in a rut but what a blissful rut it is. :hippie: We keep saying we're going to fly somewhere for a weekend (like NY to see a Broadway play, Nashville to see a hot bluegrass group, etc.) but we are having way too much fun in Florida.......:rolleyes1

This is a budget travel year for us, so I think we're going to go to PA to Hershey for a few days. 2010 is our next Disney year. :)

We'll most likely travel to

1. Pittsburgh at least twice next year to visit family--we're aiming for June and December, but if time & finances allow then we might kick in April too. :confused3

2. WDW in the summer

3. Chincoteague, VA for a long weekend at the beach with my parents

Nothing etched in stone but here is what is in the works.....

Las Vegas in June
Northern Michigan in July
a couple of mini "casino" trips here in Michigan
and a possibility of going to Disney in November with my son's basketball team!

Ohhh have been so many places this past year I SHOULD stay home--but nahhh!

Jan -- Orlando
Feb -- New Smyrna Beach-Fla
and Las Vegas at the end of the month
Apr--FLL and 7 day cruise
May--Scottsdale, Arizona
June--Hawaii
Sep--River Cruise-Germany

Somewhere in there a 4-5 day New York city trip.:confused3
Tired looking at it!!!

Disney in Feb. Pay off some credit cards, and than "maybe" a trip to Ga/South Carolina in June.;)

We may got to Philly this summer for Alopeciapoolza for my dd and dec 2009 we are most likely going to WDW

WDW for a few days during spring break (without DH)
Wyoming in June (Adventures by Disney)

Throughout the year as opportunity allows, WDW in day trips and two or three times overnight for two to four days.

For Christmas, it's a trip to New York and Connecticut to see family. It's not the time of year I would choose to go up there, but my wife has been bummed out missing family this year.
