Ah ok, maybe I’m getting confused about why they wouldn’t add the WD?

That I'm not sure of.
I would have thought they could have added it where the sink sits outside the new location of the restroom but there is not an extra sink in the HA units so maybe to keep them as equal as possible?

The bunk placement choice was really odd, maybe they have some sort of data suggesting people who like CFW don't "need privacy" in their bedrooms?

Perhaps people who like CFW already have 3 or 4 kids. A requirement for privacy in the bedroom is a distant memory….

I was thinking about cultures where the whole family sleeps in the same room, but I don't think that's the target customer. Going camping and all staying in the same tent or trailer is a thing so maybe that's what they were thinking.

I think they should have left half the cabins as cash rentals and half as DVC. Not sure how sales are going, but if the comments on Disboards are indication (which they aren't necessarily), I imagine we're looking at the next Aulani and they'll take a long time to sell.

Though maybe DVC doesn't mind since basically they do rent them for cash while points get sold. Wish we had someone inside letting us know DVC's long-term strategies (for more reasons than the Cabins!)

The way they set it up, under the trust situation there is no requirement that they activate all the cabins into the CFW RTU plan.

So, they can decide to keep them as cash if they want.

I still predict they will be connected to LSL in some way.

It’s the strong silent type, off in the distance watching all the flashy new resorts, thinking what about me w/ my so reasonable resale price, not bad point charts, 6 view booking options including club & value villas, & the ability to watch animals from your balcony .

I voted for BWV btw. The fact that you said in your first post you fell head over heels for crescent lake, I feel like this would swing more of an emotional purchase for you. For a lot of us, DVC is more an emotional purchase over financial. I don't care you fell in love w/ the theming, location, pools, the christmas decor or the creepy looking!! When something strikes that makes you feel happy and warm fuzzy, it's okay for the financial side to make less sense, especially w/ the 2042 resorts. Life is short, 2042 is far away. Look at how much things have changed just the last 5 months...can we really see and predict what's going to happen in the next 17 years?

Hopefully the refurb is good and then with the value point charts it could be amazing. You'd essentially be getting 1BRs for studio level points
