Aw, that did brighten my day! Me thinks bugs all around for our Marv.

That was me - the hippie nun. I was kind of on the edges of the whole hippie thing. The group of people I got to know right after leaving the monastery definitely had the hippie "look" and maybe more of that lifestyle - what dud i know fresh out of a monastery? One day I overheard a comment - "why doesn't Jim find himself a real hippie chick?" I was dating Jim at the time....just never made the hippie chick cut...but I did marry Jimmy.

Oh, Rosie, how heartbreaking for Shawnee. Does she have children? My heart just aches for her. I have seen someone with the shunt in the neck and it looks horrily painful.

It is good news to hear Helen is recovering slowly - it sounds like a difficult recovery, but know once she is well enough and it is safe, she will have lots of support. The cards will be wonderful.

Please know I hold them both in unceasing prayer every day.

Thank you Christine !! Judy is talking to Shawnee on the phone , her pup is over and "talked " to her !! We can't keep her over here as we are not home all day and I fear we would have NO house left between the 3 of them, but our pups are enjoying the company and so is she .

Glad Shawnee is stable but I hope the doctors figure this out soon.

Hope Helen also continues to heal. MRSA is nothing to sneeze at I am glad everyone can call and send cards.

Thanks Pat !!! But the only thing that has stabilized is the diabetes !! Thanks also for the correct spelling of MRSA !! My brain went dead ( Marv )I knew it was wrong but couldn't remember the spelling Oh that would be the dementia , which reminds me !!!!.... Nurse Cruella struck again !! The staff I relieefed that night was at the ER with his wife recently and his wife asked the very same Nurse Cruella when her lab results would be in. Cruella 's reply "I'll tell you when I'm ready " Now Adam WAS RUDE !! Good for him he cussed her out good and the doctor heard what Cruella said and told her to leave as he "HAD" this !!!! Why is that woman still still working ,??? are they that short staffed that they allow someone like her near any patients > I plan to have him talk to the Director of Nursing and the ER room supervisor

Before I do any replies !!Judy went to see Shawnee today, she was almost in tears at the sight of her , her feet and arms are super swollen , yet she ihas obviously lost sooo much weight (she was tiny to begin with) , the rash is all over body, she has a shunt in her neck so they can get meds , fluids r-etc in her !! She was found to be diabetic( 600 the other day) but with the insulin is down to 113 praise the LORD!!! They still have NO idea what is causing all this !! Please pray for her !! She has very little support from her family , some friends are visiting and Judy feels awful that she can't go every day but with caring for her dog and working and our kids she just can't and Shawnee completely understands ., but Judy is her main Support thruoughout this !!
Helen continues to recover slowly. Right now we are not doing visits as she has MERCER and we can not take the risk of anyone3 being infected , my supervisotr says to support her with cards and phone calls !! So that is what we do !! But she should be going to REHAB soon!!
It is all in the hands of the Lord now and I ask you send lots of prayers for both of them !!

So sorry to hear about Shawnee doing so bad, but great to hear that Helen is improving! Continued thoughts and prayers for both, and for Judy. I know she is hurting for her friend!

Helen was having some sort of test today to ensure the infection wasn't affecting her heart, but Flo siad she was looking better.
I haven't had a chance to talk to Judy today, so no news on Shawnee although if anything really bad hapened I know I would have got a call !!

Again no chance to talk to Judy today , I know it seems crazy living in the same house but Thursdays and Fridays we talk very briefl;y on the phone a couple of times , now hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning I will get a minute to find out the latest on Shawnee. Helen it is reported is being FEISTY Apparently she is OFF her psych meds and it is becoming apparent why she should be on themBut it does mean she is feeling better so I will settle for a FEISTY Helen!!!

I have made the first list of restaurants and today I ran it by Carol who siad it was fine she really didn't care as long as she got her dessert at Raglan Road
So Here are my thoughts ,.....

Raglan Road ( for Carol)
SciFi ( for Carol)
Garden Grill a new one for her and a secod time for mePrincess
Breakfast in Norway First for both of us
OHanas for supper first for Carol and second for me

An OOP lunch at Via Napoli too when I told Carol about the size of them she was impressed !!
