Last Night Samantha was getting into our first trip of 2013 to Universal so we started looking on line and at the brochures and book I have!!!

This was one she liked

So I decided it is time to get going on a semi formal plan

April 10th Day 1

We will leave Buffalo on Jet Blue around 8:30 a ( sorry am at work and don't have the flight details)
Arrive MCO around 11 am , get our luggage , no ME for us Then head to whichever car rental place Judy has booked our rental car with
Then we will drive to Hawthorne Inn and Suites, where we have a suite booked for 3 nights The room I am sure won't be ready sooo we will have our pool gear handy and relax at the pool there till it is, with a side trip to the closest grocery store which I have a feeling will be a PUBLIX. Pick up some lunch ( BK maybe) and continue swimming till our room is ready
Now I am seeing ticket deals with Under Cover Tourist that are for buy 2 base tickets and get a 3rd FREE Soo my thought is and Judy agreed to head to Universal as soon as possible . I am hoping by 4 pm. This will also give us a chance to figure out where we park etc. I have heard that the tickets will be actual tickets and NOT a coupon thingie you have to go thru a ticket counter to get actual tickets , this was a huge pain last September .
So with tickets in hand we will head to Universal Studios!!!

Well I had a couple of phoine calls today from Disney Vacationers , Jean has been on a couple of trips with us and writes and calls quite regularly!!!Her friend Rick who lives at home and hos mom has known Jean for 20 years was visiting her and so they called !!Rick has never been on a trip before or flown hos Mom had LOTS of questions and says she will call if she has any more whar have I got myself into !! So while I have no clue about May I know 5 for October 2 for Vegas and 2 for Vermont !!!

You and Carol are getting quite a following. That is truly a testament to how much those folks enjoy the trips and especially you and Carol as "escorts". Obviously and I can attest to it first hand, the group has a great time and love all the time and energy you put into trips.

Sounds like Oct may be full before May.

It sounds like you and Carol must be very good at leading these trips or at least make them lots of fun since so many of them want to go with you over and over!

Hoping Shawnee and Helen are doing better!

Apparently I am not the only one who thinks so.

So here we go with the proposed plans , (until Judy cahnges them) Head to Universal and find where to park ( this will save time the next day, just realised Marv may think I mean to leave the car there or sleep all night)

Anywho we will head to

First stop in Production Central, where we will try to ride Despicable Me if lines not to long which I am hoping that at 4 p ish they wont be ( sorry no pix right now )
Next stop for the girls

Maybe Kyle Judy and I will do this while they are flying thru the air

Then we will move on to New York where The girls will I am sure want to do this

I will sit that one out or maybe do TWISTER!! I am thinking this will prolly be it as I am thinking they will be Hungry by now and so alate supper in City Walk will be in order.

As most likely lunch will have been BK, I am leaning towards Pastamore Market for Pizza or Lasagna , by now we should have our refillable cups and so can fill them up for a fraction of the cost

No the speed of his updates !!Gives me a LOT of leeway till my next update !!!

I really liked Despicable me and Shrek, I enjoyed watching and listening to those on the Thrill rides

It is April 10th thru 13th !! We are staying at Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham , I think it is less than a mile from Universal !!! I seem to remember it is on Canada Street!!!

Did some Easter shopping today !! What possessed me to go on Presidents DayCanada's population id down 50% and they were all here !!But I got Kyle Swim Trunks and 2 pairs of shorts, and me new jammies , both for the Universal trip !!Now I need to get Judy and the girls to pick out swimwear and they will all have their Easter Bonnets Of course the jammies will also go on the Cruise !!!

EASTER?! I haven't even thought of Easter! Time to get out to Gymboree for Miss Princess Sophia.

Oh Yea!!! I like the ones that sorta look like day loungie wear !!! They are not easy to find so when I see tham I grab 'em !!Judy was mad I couldn't find any in her size , but I really did look for her !!Last year they had some for Valentines or Mothers Day and I got her them so I am still hopeful something will be out before our Universal trip!!!

Slowly catching up again, Rosie. I'm sorry to hear about Shawnee and hope she improves soon, and the same for Helen.

Universal parking is not bad and you park in spots like King Kong, ET, etc., and it is a parking garage and there are escalators to go up and down.

Your plans sound great thus far. Although I have to say I'd be hanging with you, Judy and Kyle and NOT doing any of those things the girls are doing..

Is where to park signes well ?? How far from parking to the Parks? I think the girls will LOVE the Coasters there !! Judy , Kyle and I will enjoy the less thrilling attractions. One more question for you the Wrestling expert Impact Wrestling do you know anything about it ! I know Kyle would be interested !!!

I am so glad to find another grandmother that travels with her grandkids! I have never been to Universal...I am a disney girl through & through. Actually we did go to Universal in CA many years ago. Where in Vt are you going to visit?

Funny yoy should mention Vermont today, as I received a call from P &P , the hotels are booked , we spend the first and last night in Bennington and the 2nd and 3rd Near Burlington , I believe Shelbourne !!
We are of course seeing the covered bridges in Bennington, and I know on the way we will stop in Weston for that famous country store, the Vermont Teddy Bear factory is also on the list and a boat tour on Lake Champlain.I have been looking at restaurants in both Bennington and Burlington area for some ideas !!!

As for travelling wioth the grandkids , we all live together so of course we vacation together unless I can wangle my way out of it !! But if it is Disney I am there

So let's get everyone confused First trip is to Universal and I am up to 1st day with that, next trip is the Disney cruise ,I think I posted a pix of the wrong shipthe third is to Vermont and this is where I am posting today so don't think all of a sudden Universal has covered bridges

We will leave Buffalo around 6 :30a on June 13th and head to Vermont, arriving in Bennington hopefully by 2pm , check into our hotel which is booked but not sure name as yet
First order of business will be to find those bridges
