Helen had an abcess in her stomach drained yesterday that they believe may have been causing the infection !! She is doing well but not able to go to Rehab till the MRSA is clear !!
Shawnee is still not doing to well !! They have no idea what caused all this , she has good days and bad days !! Judy is her main support, as her family is totally not supporting her at all In the meantime she has NO income and that of course is a huge stresser for her . Judy and I are helping as much as we can , but I feel soooo bad for her !!!
Please continue with the prayers she so desperately needs tham

Helen continues to improve and will go to the ReHab hopefully next week unless something else shows up!! Poor Shawnee had hoped to be coming home , but further tests have revealed a problem with her Liver She is disgnosed with Type 1 Diabetes brought on by the infection

Oh,no...Type 1 diabetes. I wonder if it could be temporary since up they thunk it was brought on by e liver issue - if that is cleared up?

I was thinking about her pup yesterday - poor baby. How life has changed for that innocent. I just pray Shawnee will not decide to take her to a shelter - owner turn ins are the first to be put down. If it comes to her not being able to care for her anymore, a rescue organization might be found who could help. It cannot be good for her to be alone so much - she is alone all day and night, yes? Judy goes over to feed her etc? Such a sad situation - I can imagine how concerned she is about her furbaby. Judy is absolutely wonderful, but can only do so much. Must be an extremely difficult time for Judy as well. Holding her in prayer as well...sending gentle hugs.

Rosie, so sorry to hear about your coworker! Things like this are bad enough, but to come so unexpectedly just adds to the suffering for the family I know!

Hope everything went smoothly getting the power back at work. That had to be so upsetting for your consumers who already have enough to deal with.

Thoughts and prayers continue for all of these and their families and friends! Poor Shawnee with the diabetes and I know this is all so tough on her and Judy! And great news that Helen may get to go to rehab soon!!!

And I agree with Pat! Most of us plan a vacation to relax........you are going to need one to RECOVER!!!

We have had the Pup for well over a week now, she is doing very well at our house , just praying she doesn't go into heat till Shawnee gets out. I sincerely doubt Shawnee will give her up, and if it happens I am sure she would find a home . But our local SPCA does not put them to sleep unless they are that injured or sick, due to a huge scandal, they are closely scrutinized now , under new management etc , so that wouldn't happen !!!
As for the Diabetes , they said the infection caused it,but they don't know what the infection is , so how they can say that is beyond me.

The Funeral of my co worker was today !! This is normally bowling but the Agency cancelled it tonight so any who wanted to could attend . 2 went from this House with the other staff, I was okay with that I prefer to remember him as he was , I did however get stuck with telling the one individual in the House who is obseesed with Death, Thank You co workers !!Of course there was much crying and carrying on, but she went and seems okay now . We will however hear about it for months She showed me the Memorial card which was very cute . It Tlaked about him fishing till the day he died and wanting to pass in his sleep and quickly. Well he got half that he did die quickly

I know !! It has however opened up the need to look at staff working alone at night and other times , but particularly the overnight !!I don't think anything could have saved him but I think it should have been discovered before morning !!My full time agency has an alrm guard , every hour during the overnight the staff have to punch in a code , failure to do that alerts the Alarm Company who will try to call the house and then they call the house supervisor . I have had to go in during the night when staff have not answered the alarm guard or the phone . Of course we know they were sleeping most likely , but are at least checked on , by which time they are awake !! My staff said this death made them actually appreciate our system !!!

Well I learned thru Christine that I am booked on the May Cruise !!!I meet with Patty from P&P on March 18th so I will have all the names and details then !!Hopefully by next week I will have our Universal/Seaworld tickets purchased , one step closer to NEXT months trip!! I am soooo psyched !! I plan to continue the PTR for this next trip this week end !! Maybe if I had a JUDY sighting people would be checking in moreFor sure Marv would

Universal April Trip continued !!

Thursday April 11th Day 2 !!
We will be up early and eat breakfast at the Hotel before driving to Universal and parking for the day!! Our destination today is Islands of Adventure , f=irst stop will be

I can't wait to explore Harry Potter World again with the Family!!

I am sure we will pose here !!!

Kyle has said he wants to ride Haryy Potter (his words) I have explained the darkness and the spiders , but he says he wants to anyway !!!

I have a feeling someone will want to try Butter Beer!!! The girls will I am sure want to ride the coaster , while we explore thwe shops !!

I know they will enjoy this

We had a BALL with the Fountain in September !!!

On to....

Today we will find a cs to eat lunch at !!I think we will just find one where ever we are at lunch time ,.
We will just take our time and do what we can till tummies rumble again, when I think we will head to City Walk and Pastamore Market for supper , then depending how much we have accomplished will either head back to the park to finish up or stay to look around City Walk before heading back to the hotel, on route I am sure we will again hit up the grocery store for evening snax and drinks and end the evening relaxing by the pool!!!

There is a candy store on the second floor, love Endangered Species and there is another one which I can't remember the name of...if I think of it, I'll come back and post it. And, of course, I love that there is a Starbucks.

Christine, she will only be assigned a Castaway club number AFTER her first cruise, so I don't know how the CM "found" her number.
If she has sailed with Disney before, then she should have a number.
