Where will Rosie Roam in 2013. Day 2 Epcot updated 10/14

I ahve to get the # again from a Dis friend of mine but I will be calling and have a lot of questions!! I already prewarned Carol . She said a better way to go would have been to ask for a Doctors note detailing the disability and it's limitations as far as Disney went . I never get one for myself although my artritis makes it very hard to just stand in a line for long , I am okay walking but my back and knees rebel painfully when just standing !! Stairs are , let's say VERY difficult ,but I know from working with the MR population that few of them tolerate long crowded lines well :scared1::scared1: Have to remember many function at childlike ages and they may have had 60 years practise of being a 6 year old !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

That is soooo true. :rotfl2:

I think we will be fine. The only thing you may need is that doctors note but those who abuse the system are hopefully going to be the ones that don't bother anymore.

Pat I think they should all have Diagnosis sheets , and let's be honest, it ain't hard to tell!!!:rotfl2:

Continuing on with Vegas

Close by was Caesars !!!

We used the bus today and headed to Freemont street for lunch

aarrh ain't we sweet!!!!:rotfl2:

I believe it was called Paradise Café at Four Queens

Your basic Hamburger

A BLT , this was a popular choice

A Club sandwich

The food was good and portions were large !! Then w checked out Freemont Street . Saw lots of Characters that would pose for a pix for a tip !!!:rotfl2:

Carol wanted this one for a co worker !!!

Cont .in next post

Fun update, Rosie, even though I have NO idea who/what the character is, that Carol wanted a photo of you two with. :rotfl2:

Cont from previous post

We headed back to Four Queens I forgeot to mention tha before lunch we had signed up for the players cards and so got a discount for lunch and ... coupons for Buy one Get one entres at the restaurant we planned oneating supper at , so after our stroll down Freemont and a lot of shopping ( these guys LOVED to shop) we headed to Magnolia's Verandah at Four Queen's

The service there was awesome !! The waitor was super attentive and very helpful and another staff took the pix so for once I am in one !!!!:rotfl2:

Now comes the food

Prime Rib done to perfection for me , I also had a salad first , all included with the prime rib. This was by far the most popular choice , as I recall 7 of us had this

Breaded ever so lightly fish

Lasagna

Spaghetti and meatballs
We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and all agreed it was the best so far , the price was right too thanks to our coupons !!!:rotfl2:Kathy if you are reading here is a great suggestion for Mark , I highly recommend it !!

It was now time for our Show

He was hysterical, and although I don't have the pix picked me to go up on stage ... does this sound familiar . :rotfl2:Mutha Nature her :rotfl2:He is staring at me and saying the lady with the Yellow hat , I of course ignored him as my hat was pink !!:rotfl2::rolleyes1Well he got a better view and said oops th hat is pink :rotfl2:. Of course the group with Carol the ringleader was LOVING this !!Up on stae he hands me a glass of water which of course I drank only to find out I was supposed to hold it in my mouth and spit it into the newspaper I hd frantically tried to fold like him !!:rotfl2: One of the guys was so funny yelling to Mike Hammer that pretty soon he was called up on stage and that I do hav a pix of

After the Show we walked out onto a new Freemont Street and one Carol did NOT like

Had to let the guys get a pix with the Showgirls !!!

We left and after having to get the assistance of a couple of Transportation guys we found the rerouted bus stop and headed back !!

He is a Transformer !!!!:rotfl2:

I should have guessed that, shouldn't I? :rotfl2:
Great update again, Rosie. Your food looks awesome - that is a SERIOUS piece of meat there on your plate.
And I just love the fact that you were picked to go on stage! :lmao: They all seem to know that you are good fun. :thumbsup2

Rosie, I think you should be able to still tour a lot without any wait. From what I see, you ought to be able to have access to FastPass Plus for your stay. I think as of October all Disney resorts should be included. Can you check the reservation online? There you will see whether you can get FP+ reservations. So with that you will be able to have three reservations already set out - maybe for the things which are the most popular with your groups and/or have the longest lines. The DAS reservations which you can pick up at the kiosks would be in addition to that. The only big problem is that this will involve a lot more pre-planning for you before the trip! And then there are quite a few rides where lines should not be a problem in October anyway.

As Pat said the rumours about this happening and when it will happen seem to be fluid at the moment. And Pat seems to have a close eye on the situation! :goodvibes I am sure you will be able to figure out what to do!

As to the abuse - I heard about that issue about a year ago for the first time and there are even videos on youtube on how to train your kid to act like it is autistic in order to be able to get the GAC. I found that so disgusting that I wanted to take a shower after watching that video!

The thing is however, that there appear to be legal reasons why Disney cannot ask for a doctor's notice. From what I read on the DLP board, there you need a doctor's notice, but there obviously the French laws apply. I think the new set up with the kiosks might be one of the ways to make it more difficult for people to lie. I think most people find it easier to go and lie about a false disability once, but they will not enjoy doing it over and over again every time they need to get a reservation for a ride.

Looking at these pics, all the lights...and the girls in costume...how the heck do people live there year round ...it seems overwhelming.::yes::

The next morning we were up and had breakfast at Mac Donalds and over to wait for our bus for the Hoover Dam Tour . This was also where had we used it we would have caught this

Here we are patiently waiting

The bus was on time , in fact a little early and we were on our way!!!First stop

Driving thru the dessrt is picturesque

A shot of Lake Mead

We arrived at The Dam and of course Rosie found an opportunity to do what she does best

Now I see that it may still be sideways , but by now you all or as Marv would say y'all are used to Rosie's updates beibng ODD!!

I will leave you here so y'all have a chance to straighten out after the sideways pole dancing !!!:rotfl2:

The only thing better than seeing Rosie pole dance is seeing you pole dance sideways! :rotfl2:

The desert is a stunning place to be. It changes so much, Mother Nature at her best.
Love the photos of the group waiting and BEST of all, a sideways poledancing Rosie! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

The sideways dancing is quite funny! :rotfl2:

I really like the dessert pictures. Much better than the pictures of those lights etc. I guess I prefer nature to neon... :goodvibes

We only had 1 hour and 15 minutes total at the Dam. So after standing in line for the "Down under " tour for a while realised we would not have time to do much else so opted to skip it and head right to the Dam

Once up there it was PP time:rotfl2:

Okay another sideways Rosie, not pole dancing Dam Jumping :rotfl2:

Windblown Carol:rotfl2:

Looking "Down under":rotfl2:

the river and the 2 state bridge

It was then time for the museum, Carol twistyed my arm to take this pix of a half naked man:rolleyes::rotfl2:

After we left the Dam we drove over to Lake Meade where we dropped off 3/4 of the bus who were doing the Lake Cruise

Our driver was shall we say a little toooooo chatty, but he pointed out thay the Town of Boulder City is very different and shall we say clicky. No sign can be higher than the Flag foe one thing

The Lowest Golden Arches evahhhhh!!

Iwill coninue next with the Conclusion of the Tour and the day!!!

What she said!!!:rotfl2::rotfl: :cheer2:
