Actually Rosie, there ARE German potato pancakes (no batter in them though) and they can be delicious! I was just wondering as the items you had don't look so German.

Then the pancakes were authentic as there was not battere and they were delish, the German stirfry was huge and those who had it said it was delish !! We were to full for dessert but they had some amazing pies !!!!!

Sunday our last full day, we watched The Gospel performances, and the ELVIS Weddings and then headed to The Docks for ( as I thought) our Brunch Cruise

Then it was time to board annnnd 2 of the Men REFUSED to get on the Boat so yours truly stayed on dry land with them. With time on my hands and smoke coming outta my ears

They said non handicapped paid $10 but don't you think the sign makes it appear that only the Handicapped are being charged . The poor attendant was perplexed and said a lot of people were upset by it!!!

So the others enjoyed themselves, but I did not get my annual Pole Dancing pix

YIKES!!!! Someone needs some semantics lessons- yea, that sign is not too PC, and it DOES make it sound like only DISABLED people would be charged. They are trying to do a nice thing, though- right?

Parking was FREE for all last year !!!!But from that sign it sounds like they are charging from handicapped parking and believe me we pointed that out !!!!!!

Finally I was joined by the Cruisers and we headed back to the Forum for the FINALE and of course a few more Elvis pix for the Guys .





Can't you tell they are in 7thHeaven !! So many of the MR population absolutely adore ELVIS!!!

We headed across the street to The Prospect Mountain Diner !!It is small and a little crowded but once we were all situated and they figured out who was taking which tables order Everyone found something they liked I didn't get many pix and one is I believe mine and I don't know for sure what it is

Fried egg sandwich and chips Doug was thrilled with this



I remember .... French Onion Soup and it was Good and I also had a fried egg sandwich!!!
The menu is large and lots to choose from !! We also ordered dessert to go !!

We all met in the dining area off the lobby and they filled out their reviews on the Trip and us !!Needless to say Laurie and I scored HIGH!

So our last day ended . In the morning we had our last breakfast and hit the road by 9 a!!

Stay tuned next will be VERMONT which if I was doing a TR would be LOST in Vermont !!

So moving right along !!!On June 13th Carol and I headed out again on another adventure . We picked up 5 travelers in Buffalo and another 3 on the way!!



Here we are by our van !!!!
As our last pick up was in Albany around lunch time , we looked for somewhere to eat, whils the Colony Mall has a Food Court , we had gone that route before and it is soooooo far away and took soooo long we decided to look for somewhere else .. We found what proofed to be an AWESOME spot Capitol City Diner .It was busy and I can understand why !!They had great lunch specials , which included soup and a dessert. I am having trouble with PB not letting we copy my pix so will continue when PB is in a better mood !!!

Enjoying the soups which they had nice choices , chicken noodle was the favorite, but I had split pea and it was delish!!




They even had sugar free jello for our diabetics !! If you are ever in Albany give this Diner a try !!!!!

Well we were supposed to go up the Batt;e Monument but due to heavy rain we didn't !!! That was very tall and thin like a POLE I am sure I could have seen for miles
