Where? Who? How? Photography? Help! Triplets take on the World!

This was on our door!

They were very excited!!!

then the magic happened:

Aren't the boxes AMAZING?!?!? I really really really wanted to keep the boxes i loved them so so much.
But there was no way to get them on the plane. So i took the name tags and the bows and still have them.. :cloud9:

let the opening BEGIN!
From Donald!

all the feathers!!! Did i mention Tom is allergic to feathers??? poor guy was miserable... I laughed....
GOOFY!

Goofy gave us our room phone... :cool2: Actually he left a message for the kids singing happy birthday and something else.. The kids really thought Goofy was on the phone as was just ADORABLE. again best money ever spent.
The minnie... Ummm CAKE...

Mickey:

you've seen the awesome hats...
Pluto!!!

There was a balloon that sang, A tinker bell silhouette with a light behind her... Which is Still up on my walls at home.:thumbsup2
well not the balloon.. That stayed behind.

All in all it was amazing, magical, perfect, The kids really believed in all Disney Magic!! i HOPE i can do something like this again!

OK i'm off to catch up on your reports!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!!!

Speechless! That is just so incredible. Wonderful! It is funny what ends up being "worth the money". In Nov. we suprised the little one with BBB. I almost canceled it. But, ended up being the best money spent. She still talks about it. I was thinking of doing it again this trip, but I think that it just wouldn't have the same effect not being the 1st time. She believed each princess had sent something over just for her, as we had met each of them previously during this trip. :thumbsup2

Glad the state kids did well & like you say they all one 1st place in your hearts.

I love the pictures of the kids in the water fully clothed.

I cannot believe I missed this yesterday!!! I was holed up in my sewign room all day and really didn't get back to Dis.

That party is just the coolest thing ever!!! Love the feathers... And those boxes - I agree, way too cool... I would have wanted to keep them, as well. LOL about the room phone in the box - that cracked me up!

So, how in the world are you going to top that????

D~

I will have to tune into Channel Mo. I guess the first episode will show off your dog wrangling skills.

Your night with dinner, fireworks and swimming looked like an awesome night and then there was more.....The pictures from the b-day celebration in the room are amazing. I can't believe each pal sent along a customized gift. The phone in the box from Goofy and the little "dog treats" from Pluto - so cool. :goodvibes You have to save up because that looks totally worth it! (of course I have no idea how much that cost). LOL. I'm sure you will think of something just as neat for your next trip. You only turn 10 once!!! ;)

Awesome pictures of the big surprise. I just love the joy in the kids' faces.

That's the while reason for doing ANYTHING is to see the joy in their innocent eyes!!!
how i wish i can keep this up FOREVER!

BBB was something we wanted to try but i had to pick and choose on our first trip and figuring it was cheaper to go the in room celebration then to do something special separately! yes believe it or not this was cheaper! :lmao:
AWWWWWWWWWWW YES every princess DID sent her something! Whatever they believe i just go with it.

YEs they are all winners. good group of kids. leave the parents home...
Yep swimming in clothes is how we roll here! :lmao: I honestly didn't care. go have fun swimming with the ducks! that alone was a huge experience for them! :rotfl: Who need dolphins? Disney has swimming with Ducks for FREE!

I cannot believe I missed this yesterday!!! I was holed up in my sewign room all day and really didn't get back to Dis.

umm you were a bit busy yesterday with getting your things ready for your trip that is coming SO fast!
I really cannot say enough about the room celebration!!! it was just so over the top amazing and FUN!

Last year we didn't really do anything 'special' for their birthdays. and i know they were a bit bummed about it. Never said anything but i know it...

So now you know why i need to do something special for them next year...
JUST WHAT! i don't know how much they are going to believe.. again they will never say anything to me and will go with the flow.. Yet i need to make some magic in their hearts at Disney!

*****************************************************

Well, as you know we did this Pet expo thing a couple of weekends ago. They had a prairie Dog. My Mother (God Bless her) is more then an animal lover. Matt wants a prairie dog....
My mother wants a Hedgehog.
do you SEE where this is going?
After our trip in 2010 My Mother HAD to buy my kids a Sheltie.. I have a sheltie named piper.

She is a really pretty girl. With the bluest eyes i have ever seen! She is sweet and loves the kids.
Animal #1 from Grandma. (enabler)
So I really don't want another animal. but Matt has been asking everyday 7 times a day for an animal. I give him my mother's phone number. Call her.
My ground rules were:
Nothing hyper
Nothing too small
Nothing nocturnal.
Nothing that will harm my dogs.
Nothing that would harm the kids!
Something they can actually play with and cuddle.
EASY CARE.
I narrowed it down right? buy a stuffed animal... :lmao:
Well unbeknownst to me Matt has been on you tube looking at animals.
it was down too:
Sugarglider (nocturnal this is out)
Hedgehog (can't find one) Thank Ye Gods.
Prairie dog ( only breed in the spring) This was ok.
Ferret. (you guessed it)

Meet Stevie:

(please ignore the fact Matt in is in desperate need of a hair cut.) 5 month old Ferret!
OK i instantly fell in love with this thing. besides the SMELL he is sweet cuddly and perfect with the kids.

as soon as we got home Stevie was thrown in the tub for his BATH. which did help A LOT. yet he still a little smelly. need a deodorant.
once he settled down and cage was put together we put the dog in the kitchen with the gate up and let Stevie get used to his surroundings.. THEN we let Logan (Golden) in. :scared1:
Logan was SO TENSE. tag wagging the whole time. His main issue was NO ANIMAL goes by HIS MOMMY. as soon as i allowed him in the front room i had him in a down his nose was a little to nudgy to poor stevie. Stevie didn't care about logan at first. then i allowed logan up and Stevie did this little hop sidestep thing jumped at Logan I laughed SO HARD. The surprise on Logan's face was PRICELESS like WTH was THAT Piper was let in next. she could care LESS about Stevie.
SO today it's Great Dane v/s Ferret. I may have to video this one.

Well i now have to make a new chore chart for the kids and incorporate the new critter!!!

On to a DISNEY PHOTO!!!

Animal kingdom keeping up with our new furry friend!!! :cheer2:

Awww... I jsut love Stevie!!! And ROFL - I wish you had photos of the meeting with Logan!!! MM is such a baby - he'd probably pack up and move out. LOL

Side note: BTW... Thanks to you, we now call him "Maxy-Moosie" all the time... Said to tune of "Marty Moose" from National Lampoon. LOL

I think I may try your tomato sauce idea on MM tonight... Noodles too - or just the sauce?

Oh - and I LOVE the AK photo - you are all so darned cute!

D~

Thank you I was a lot heavier then! dang thyroid!

Awwww....Stevie is so cute.

Love the AK family picture...you all look great.

Thanks Kathy! Tom just text me to tell me how he was running all over this house this morning... this is going to get interesting.
Like my life wasn't in scrambles already!!! :rotfl2:

Nice photo!

Wow all you do and another furry family member?!

I can barely keep up with our dog and fish. Lol

Loved the stories about Stevie meeting the other four legged family members, LOL! You are a good Mommy, much nicer than me... :rolleyes1 We live on five acres of land and have only one outside cat. We tell the kids we have enough mouths to feed already! :rotfl2:

:rotfl2:Oh my gosh, I can totally picture the side step hop thingy :rotfl2: Poor Logan! Too funny. Okay, I admit....Stevie is pretty cute. Bradey loves watching those things whenever we go to the pet store to get Molly's food. They are very entertaining ::yes::

My younger ds decided he wanted a chinchilla. Luckily he was away at college at the time! Lucky for me, he had an internship where he could not keep it. I got to Chinchilla-sit all summer! Actually he was the cutest little thing and we did enjoy keeping him, except when he escaped from his cage (it was huge - we could walk into it until we had to put a cover on it) and hid in my sewing room.

Good luck with Stevie!

Wow. You are a nice mom. Stevie will be a fun addition to the family. He looks so cute and at least he is not nocturnal.

Love the family picture at AK. :-)

OMG...you are such an awesome mom! I'm not so sure that we would ever have a ferret. He is super cute though. I loved your description of his meeting with the 4 legged family members. I can't wait to hear about the Great Dane meeting! ::yes::

Nice photo!

Wow all you do and another furry family member?!

I can barely keep up with our dog and fish. Lol

I understand!!! This is ALL my enabler Mother's fault!!! :lmao: I love her. But there are days....

We are up to:
2 adults
3 children
3 dogs
2 maybe 3 fish (i can't remember!!!)
1 Ferret
1 mind gone.

Loved the stories about Stevie meeting the other four legged family members, LOL! You are a good Mommy, much nicer than me... :rolleyes1 We live on five acres of land and have only one outside cat. We tell the kids we have enough mouths to feed already! :rotfl2:

Oh I agree with you!!! LOTS AND LOTS of mouths to feed.. What's one more?!? :rotfl2:
Hey and outside cat is STILL a pet! I have a HUGE soft spot for Children and Animals..

Yesterday... Stevie cam out of his shell a little more.. He and Logan are becoming fast friends!
Stevie did his ferret hop like they do. which is funny in itself But this time did a lunge at Logan, Stevie missed did a face plant and logan looked him with laughter!
then Logan pounced butt in the air tail wagging the playing started. it's really funny to watch this crazy marshmallow of a dog play with something he is supposed to hunt Who is the size of his head. :lmao:

Actually a Chinchilla was on the list until Tom was around one and started sneezing from the dust.. :sad2: I LOVE them!!! so pretty and ADORABLE!!!
That's a BIG cage!!! Thankfully you were able to find him!!! i just want to cuddle with one of them!!!

Wow. You are a nice mom. Stevie will be a fun addition to the family. He looks so cute and at least he is not nocturnal.

Love the family picture at AK. :-)

Thank you!!! He is a fun addition... until you read about yesterday...

OMG...you are such an awesome mom! I'm not so sure that we would ever have a ferret. He is super cute though. I loved your description of his meeting with the 4 legged family members. I can't wait to hear about the Great Dane meeting! ::yes::

WHY thank you!!! I try to be a good Mom.. but ALL my patience was tried yesterday!!!

I don't Not even know where to start..
at work yesterday getting a ton of stuff done since today is my last last day until next week!
SO IN the middle of my figuring out a boat load of paperwork i receive a phone call from the house. I had a sinking feeling i KNEW something was wrong. my Babysitter was calm at first
then said how STEVIE made it into the couch...

yes you read that right

INTO the couch

yes inside the LEATHER couch.

OK. I am calm the babysitter starts crying. (she is going into the 8th grade)
I tell her NOT TO WORRY i am on on my way home... I talk to Meg who is crying hard..

I leave work....

I receive a text from the babysitter. "we just got Stevie out of the couch. The kids say you don't need to come home. Rawr I'm so sorry"

WHAT?!?!?!? things are flying around my head! I'm already on my way I call the hosue Matt answer he is as calm as can be.. Can i talk to babysitter.
She gets on the phone she is already upset and crying.

HOW was the ferret freed from the couch.

Her brother who is 9 decided to take a pair of scissors to the couch to free said ferret.

PLEASE tell me he cut a hole in the bottom of the couch.

She says hold on let me see....

No......... he cut a hole in the back of my LEATHER couch. I say i will be home in a few minutes and cut the phone call..

i'm not happy... actually i am furious. :furious:

Thankfully i have another 10 minutes drive to cool off. Of course i do.
Here is where i need to remind you.. of the house fire. I LOST EVERYTHING materialistic. Everything. and the things i didn't lose the flood i had 3 months after moving back in took the rest..
So my outlook on material things differ from normal people who have NOT gone threw a tragedy i had. I do not WISH this on anyone. A-N-Y-O-N-E.
But it was a life lesson for me. I do not love material things they CAN be replaced/fixed whatever. life cannot. Yes i do appreciate nice things don't get me wrong. like i said i have leather couches i have a nice house. but if something happens to them.. I can replace them or fix it.

So by the time i get home i am relaxed. I look at the couch. It is in the back on the bottom about 6 inches long.
we have a talk.. more in my head of "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS WRONG WITH YOU" But what came out was " WHY would you take scissors to my couch KNOWING i am on the way home. They had panicked and that was the thought process was to get the animal who was in distress out. Who can argue with that? I can.
So we have a long talk on the what's and why's and so on. They apologized profusely. the babysitter is a ball of sobs.
Zack of ALL kids said well we did lie! crap i cannot argue with that either.
So after a long talk adn apologizing them saying how they both will pay to have it fixed.
whatever
We are all settled and time for lunch my treat after a stressful morning. we are going to McDonalds
Make sure i have everything lock up the dogs walk out the door kids are in the car. shut the front door.

you got to be kidding me.

I forgot the keys...

yes... yes... i did.

I called my step dad he has keys!! :yay: but will take a minute to get there. Cool.... oh wait lets try to break in...
ALL the windows Tom has the safety lock on. :furious: I call him asking what windows do NOT have the lock on...
he has no clue.
Well lets try the front windows:

:cheer2:
Unlock the door and we have the keys and out we go. I know have to remind everyone what a crazy day this is and how we need to be EXTRA careful because WHO KNOWS what else will be thrown at us. :scared1:

Needless to say. the rest of the day was UNEVENTFUL.
i need to write a book. No one would believe half the stuff that happens..
This my friends and readers is WHY i love Disney SO SO SO much.
my real life can't happen there! :rotfl:

more life lessons... No scissors to a leather couch. Check
Ferrets like to run away from babysitter, Check
need a plan for locking keys in house Check
All windows have the safety lock on them so don't try to break into the house.. I fixed that... :lmao:

As for the introduction of Lex (great Dane) and Stevie was not epic. Lex just sniffed TRIED to play with him. Stevie went back to Logan. Nothing special!!!

Today is my last day for a small vacation. A friend of mine is coming to town!!! :cool1:
Coming in tomorrow and leave on Monday! I'm very excited to have her and do a girls night!!! :woohoo:

how was your night???

and a Disney picture!!!
Zack's Favorite restaurant (apparently)

OH my goodness Mo! What a day!! As I was reading your account of the day part of me wanted to cry and the other part had to chuckle just a little at the craziness that you encounter sometimes. A ferret INSIDE the couch?!? these aren't the kind of things that happen to most people.

I never knew about losing most of your possessions in a fire and then a flood. I'm so sorry! I am sure that experience has definitely changed your outlook on things. It makes you realize how different our lives all are and how we react in situations such as yours yesterday. Growing up our family didn't have a lot in the way of material things. Lots of passed down furniture from my grandma, hand-me-down clothes, etc. Now that I am an adult I have worked VERY HARD to have nice things. I don't mean to sound as if I am materialistic, but when something that I have worked so hard for gets broken or ruined it is very disappointing and sometimes I feel like I am back to square one and starting over! :confused3

You should totally write a book...it would be hilarious! At the very least, you should pick up a journal and just write down some of the funny things that happen in a household with triplets. It will be awesome to look back one day and say "Oh my goodness...do you remember the day the ferret got in the couch and he was cut out with scissors!" Great stories for later!

I hope that you have a better day today Mo! :thumbsup2

ETA: love the pic!

only me.

apparently i am not most people... :rotfl2:
Just laugh. Life is too short. I live a very adventurous life! that's for sure.

I never knew about losing most of your possessions in a fire and then a flood. I'm so sorry!

Yep. Thank you that's very kind of you. it happened in 07 dryer fire.. BE CAREFUL WITH DRYERS!! a lot of people i know now really check clean their dryers because of what happened to us. I do pray it never happens to anyone..

I am sure that experience has definitely changed your outlook on things. It makes you realize how different our lives all are and how we react in situations such as yours yesterday.

I appreciate 'things' and love them.. just in a different way.. I really don't know how to explain this correctly. I have items brought to me from Ireland that i do love i have small things my children made or bought me that i do love. but i know its the thought that counts. i will forever be thankful and loving to gifts!!! I just know nothing is permanent. its the person who thought of you while shopping or crafting. that makes me love the things.
Does any of this make sense?!?!?

I fully understand this . The same was in my home growing up! after the fire I just have a different view

The title would be Common sense is NOT so common.
it's taken for granted!!!

your so right i do need to start writing all this down. besides this thread!!

anyone know how to print a thread out?!?! :confused3

so far so good today!!! :cool1: :woohoo: 4 more hours and i am OUT OF HERE!
