What are the dates...I admit I skimmed a bit.
And I miss you too.

Oh I know Ruthie!!! I am so sorry. But in my Yay! You know me. I hope to find the time to get back over there on my PTR. I just don't really have much more to plan for. All my ADRs are done, I am checked in. What else?? I am not as chatty as these ladies.
Where are you from? Or do you not want to tell??? I have family in North Reading....is that close? (sorry Mo....threadjacking here) (you'll get over it) (love ya...mean it!)

I am trying to get a lead for you but have not heard back from the designer. I will try to check my facebook to see if she responded. That shirt sounds really cuteLuvchefmic said:BUT its a good choice its the one I put on my tshirt at DTD design a tee when I was going to PT and I may wear it for the raceI had written on it:
Work Hard and Get All Paws Running now I need to find someone to applique it on my running skirt![]()
I am the same way. There are a few more PTRs I want to check out but I am so bad at keeping up.Deesknee said:Hi Jane! I felt and still feel like the newbie. I don't remember most peoples screen name vs actual name, so I do get confused sometimes. And I don't always have something to say of any significance, but they are a fun group to follow. I just need more computer time to do so!
I can never keep up.

sincerely don't understand this:
Yay for TAs... You know how I feel about mine... And most of the reason I love her is because she lets me plan everything... Wouldn't have it any other way.
not being snippy I think you know me better than that, but what is the benefit then ? In my mind that would be like hiring someone to clean my house and then saying I love her because she lets me clean everything

I so relate to the MIL thing. Same thing with my FIL several years ago. Fortunately, I was able to talk to Dan and he immediately saw my point. Long story short, we got him in hospice and away from the hospital and the drs wanting to put him through all kinds of "stuff"!she is still in the hospital because of the heart failure stuff going on and wont move her until that is under control??
I worked in the hospital and know for sure that we did tests on people, not because it was to their benefit, but was more a learning tool. I HATED doing that to people who just really needed to be made comfortable. Okay, nuff said! This is a double edge sword i guess. IMO as i would be OK for the testing to hopefully help the next person who has the same ailment?? possibly a child??
Loving the plans for the trip. Glad hubby is on board. That always helps. I honestly get so excited for you. And about the "booger" picture. We have a picture from last December with my finger up the nose of a gargoyle on the bridge going into BOG. Usually not something I would think to do, but I guess I was high on something...Disney magic?you can post your picture!!!
It was either he is on board or he was going to be left behind!!!
He loves Disney as much as i do.. So that lit the fire!!!
Our son is joining us this weekend, so we'll be really busy and I won't be on probably. Hope everyone has a great weekend!I'm hardly ever on during the weekends way too busy! I hope you had a great visit and a better weekend!
Hi ~ Hope you are feeling better I had flu/pneumonia at the end of May took two weeks to shake it off.
J
I'm back to normal and raring to go!
Oh gosh.....too funny!
That Kathy...![]()

Mo - your trip sounds like it will be fun with another family. I have never been with a group but my sister has been with her husband's extended family. They told the others where they would be and got together for dinner ADRs. That worked for them because some families were still in the hotel at lunch time. They get up and go. Plus with cell phones you can keep in touch and get together in the parks if you want to.
Sorry about your MIL. Glad you got a chance to speak up, I am not good with that kind of stuff so I can relate to your DH. I am sure it is very hard for him, having to deal wih his mother's declining health.
Don't get me started on hose wristbands. As soon as I saw them I was thinking about ways to cover / customize them but all I can picture in my mind are the homemade scrunchies I used to make back in the day. LOL. At least the fabric would feel better than that plastic.
Ummm, as for no talent....have you seen any of your photos?![]()
Couldn't keep away from the field on your day off? Hope your weekend is not too hectic.
Hey there Mo! So much to catch up on after being out of town for a week!
always hard to catch up.. you have an excuse! i can't wait to see pictures!!!
First...so sorry to hear about your MIL.It is a difficult thing to go through. We just made the decision to put my grandmother in a nursing home back in December so that she could receive the care she needed. Keep your head up...I'l be thinking about you and your family!
thank you!!!
Second...OMG...the pic of the kiddos with their heads up a nose.I laughed so hard I snorted...how appropriate!

They are a lot of fun... They just go along with anything.
Third...the D~ bidding wars!Holy D~ bags Batman! That was intense...and I wasn't even bidding.
I came really close to bidding on the Mike W. wallet/lanyard set but I couldn't bring myself to outbid you! I know your were distraught
about losing Scrump...there was know way I could swoop in and steal Mike!
It's all good though! Enjoy!
i was upset, but at least i lost to a good person. She deserved it! and all the money went to a good cause!you could have outbid me, I wouldn't have been mad!!!! we are all friends and its the way it goes!!! I still have an incredible incredibles bag! can't wait to get it!!!
You know...I was out of town for 5 days, checked in here periodically but didn't really have time to comment....and I so out of touch. I missed my DIS friends! It's good to be back.![]()
we missed you too!! Sorry/Glad your back!!!
didn't want you getting ripped off babybut IMHO you do not need a TA you good planner
Yay for the thiroid being almost normal! When are they gonna work on the rest of you???OK - sorry...
Couldn't resist.
ROFL at that picture of you guys pushing the jeep... Seriously - you are the only one who is putting forth any effort? I think DH is smiling because he doesn't have to work as hard with you there???![]()
Yay for TAs... You know how I feel about mine... And most of the reason I love her is because she lets me plan everything... Wouldn't have it any other way.
D~
LOL... I had to explain this to Mo too...
First of all - my TA is a VERY good friend. She is paid through Disney for her work, not by me. It costs me nothing to "hire" her. I tell her what I want vs. telling Disney what I want - and she does it for me. I see no reason to not let a friend benefit from my trips when it costs me nothing to do soI tried to type it out to Mo once and she didn't get it - but once I explained it to her in person when she was here - she "got" it (I think...).
D~
Uffdah,I just spent my entire Sunday reading this ENTIRE ptr!!! hahaha thanks for the entertainment!
I feel like I am in the same boat with the planning as we are not going until Oct 2014. My mom and I started planning last fall, (we are a little ridiculous, but seem to fit right in around here!)However, this is our first trip EVER! I love reading about everyone's experiences because I really have no idea what to expect. I mean I have read about 7 different WDW planning guides, scoured (sp?) the internet, and watched countless you tube videos ( can we say obsessive), but I don't think you can really imagine how it will be until you get there; which is sooooooooo far away! OMG that was a huge run-on sentence-please do not judge!
