Hello there. I am just chiming in. Didn't finish reading all the posts yet, but as someone who drove down from Chicago area just this past summer, thought I could answer some questions for you if you are interested.

Of course and welcome aboard!!!

I will be over to read along! I might drive right on through.. MIGHT.

i'm a total Poly Snot. I have to go back there. Unfortunately i will be moving the trip until 2014.

Sucks about the Christmas party... HOpefully the grumbling is kept to a minimum.

I am afraid I am going to have to push my trip back too... Don't want to say anything in my PTR...

But...

I am ready to get to work on getting this house ready to sell... No matter what we do to it - unless we doze it - it will never be functional the way we'd like. The unfortunate part is that we purchased at the tippy-top of the market, and we will never ever see what we paid or any of the work we've put into it. But I am ready to have a much nicer house for the price of this one.

If that is the case... Disney may be on hold indefinately. Which is very sad. Also, it will probably take us about 4 years to get this house ready to sell anyways...

Sorry for the rant and taking over... I am in one of those moods.

Oh it's definitely too far to drive. I just don't think I could swing the airfare cost since we are saving for our Disney trip. Thanks though ladies, I feel loved! Perhaps we can pick a more central location to meet up sometime the future, maybe even Chicago? I am just not sure I could talk DH into forking out the cash for me to fly all the way up to MN just for a weekend.

I hope you all have a GREAT time and I will expect a mini TR from one or all of you with lots of fun pictures...and food porn, yes lots of food porn!

I am SO excited for the May/june Birthday Extravaganza!!! I wish You could make it Connie..

So far the trip is still off. i haven't wont he lottery and HE hasn't gotten a second job..

But the good news is the money that i had on the trip will buy a new LENS!!!

Umm I am ALL ABOUT a Chicago get together too.. then Main then where else we can imagine!!!

i will say i WILL be back in the world in 2014. I will be turning 40 the kids will be turning 10. big mile markers. so the kids and i will STORM THE WORLD!!! i think if i do september again and make it during their birthday i can still pay for them as Kids?!?!

I will be back for more updates!! have lots to say!
Technology is not my friend today.. nothing is working!!! i have TONS of picture to get done too!!!

Yay for fun trips Can't wait! I am still so up in the air about our trip. I know at least Bradey and I are going back in 2013. Just not sure when or how long.

I didn't get it Yet... i am stuck between a wide angle or a portrait?!?!? ugh WHY do i have the expensive hobbies???
so here in a nut shell is going on here. i will post a lot more about christmas i promise.. but i haven't even gotten the pictures off the SD card yet
i am:
-a Mom to the best kids ever.

- photographer finally got my web site up and running. having my logo redone because of a certain someone mentioned hidden mickey heads.. won't name ANY NAMES..

-i'm the 4th grade volleyball coach for my kids school (Annunciata) when my kids are only in the 2nd grade.

-the Volleyball coordinator for the school too

-instructor for Dog Obedience Club

-now i am doing private lessons for dog training.

-I train my own goofy pooch in obedience has several AKC titles!!!

-AND OF COURSE- A DIS'ER!!!

- plus work full time

i'm tired...But
what i have coming up! shooting the bald eagles at starved rock!!! how exciting!!!
trip to the great and wonderful MOA! girls trip wishing a couple of people can join us...
need to do SOMETHING with the kids.. i just don't know what.. any ideas???
unless pixi dust falls on us and we CAN go to Disney!??!?!

Not sure? I've been looking for Pixie Dust too... I am so sad that Disney is not doing the incentives that they used to... Guaranteed, if we don't go in October - the second Disney offers Free Dining again, WE ARE THERE! And I don't care when that is.

My vote is for the wide angle...vs portrait. I don't want you to have a brandy new portrait lens that you "just gotta" try out on our trip. Wide angle is soooo much better!
