Where? Who? How? Photography? Help! Triplets take on the World!

OK - this is all for replies right now... Need to get back upstairs and finish quilting this bag today... The person it belongs to might see me here not working. :rolleyes1

D~

You stop and Dis all you want...I would have never met you if it weren't for the Dis! :goodvibes

I didn't realize it was iced tea at first... :rolleyes1 Thought Suzi was glug-glugging on the wine bottle a little early...

she paid me to say it was ice tea..

I still cannot believe that V did this - what a turd! She is the sneakiest one ever!

just shows you she wanted to give you a great birthday!!! what great kids.

Oooh, oooh, oooh... I know, I know... Pick me, pick me....

Crap - I forgot. :confused3

 inquiring minds need to know.

Because I am a seriously dangerous driver... :rolleyes1

it was so funny.. she is such a nut!!!

We have mighty fine BBQs at our house folks... Come on over...

be there is 5 hours.

That was so nice of you - you won Josh's heart for sure! Still have the huge bottle of wine on my counter, haven't even had a sip since I've been home.

:flower3:

Awww... Thank you... I love them so - but I always figured it's because they are mine.

nope you did a wonderful job with your kids. not only are they just adorable great personalities and stunning talent!!!

Those bracelets turned out adorable! Meg did a fantastic job on them!

She was very proud of them. Once she saw the pictures of the girls wearing them she was so excited!

LOL Isn't that the truth? New name for MM (Monster Moose)...

th_20130601_172549.jpg

there's the MAN!

There's the stupid smile of mine again... Sigh. And seriously - so glad that's your lens... As soon as I saw this, I ran to the livingroom to seee what is all over my wall. Phew!

you were being silly because A took this.. Remember i let her take my camera?

I am so happy you enjoyed yourselves... I was really nervous when Josh told me he invited the WHOLE TOWN... I didn't want you all to feel out of place at all... There is nothing worse than going to someone's house and made to feel unwelcome or out of place... I truly enjoyed having you both here - it really made this birthday extra special for me - and I doubt that Josh will ever be able to top that one... The whole night was just amazing. Thank you so much for coming and being a part of it... :grouphug:

not the case at all everyone was very accommodating!!! Cool beans to meet everyone!

Here are a couple of photos I'd like to add to this post...

First of all - my PJ pants (which I am wearing today - Love them)... and my "tea"...

th_20130601_211954.jpg

Tom put the clean clothes away thr other day and put my pants in Meg's room.. That felt good...

And the sign I saw when I first walked in the door to our house...

th_20130601_170742-1.jpg

So SWEET!!!

And I am not sure where to put these, but these are the cookies that Suzi brought from the Island of Maine... The lobster is long gone, but I cannot bring myself to even take a bite of the Sorel... It is just soooo cool.

th_20130602_205911.jpg

D~

THE SAME THING!!! the lobster is gone yet the boot i still have!!!
but..

and then:

somehow he kept getting smaller!! :confused3

Oh wow Mo... Those pictures... Where in the world is my bow down guy??? Seriously - they make me want to go to church right this moment. Amazing - utterly amazing!

And thank you for taking Alli out - she had a great time and I think she learned a lot from you. You are an amazing friend to do this for her.

And the whole time - Suzi was stuck at my house, listening to me ramble... Probably why she isn't feeling well. :rolleyes1

D~

They are OK.. i had the wrong lens to play.
Sorry about leaving like to did. Once i am invited to go out and shoot all reason and thought fly out of my head. i just go.

I hope she had a good time. I hope she sends me more of her work!

I haven't been commenting much, but I am soooo enjoying this TR!
Love the photos of the church especially. What a lucky girl. I took photography classes many years ago in school, but that was when everyone used film. Honestly, I forget most of what I learned anyway. I keep saying I am going to take more classes, but... I don't think I would be able to keep up with my memory issues these days.
You all looked like you had so much fun. Love that you all enjoyed the rides!
Those stores are incredible. A PEEP STORE? My buddy HATES peeps, as in has a bit of a fear of them. So, of course I had to tell him all about the store & send him the stores link. :rolleyes1 My dear friend Frank & I was beheaded a bunch of peeps & sent this friend the heads in one envelope & the bodies in another. hehehe I giggle every time I see a peep now. Thanks for sharing.

hmmm next photo shoot.... A river? although, I do think cemetary would be a good guess.

Since i have LOST about 80 people..

No one has tried to guess where your next photo shoot is??? My guess is a cemetary!

Why YES!!! Yes it is!!! there is nothing more beautiful, peace, tranquility, then a cemetery. Words do not do a cemetery justice so here:

The words alone Rest and Peace. have such impact.

I had to crop.

Not an epic pic:

LOVE the moss

powerful stuff

There is only so much you can do with a picture. this was it's actual sky. just brought out the beauty

one of my favorites he was very photogenic

He is my favorite Saint

See the bunny???
another favorite to shoot:

The bunny in real life:

I wish A still had her pictures!!! She had some really great shots!!! Fascinating perspective... She is really going to become an amazing photographer.

Next is going to be my FAVORITE picture... possibly my favorite ever picture.. here is my computer showing working on them:

D please let me know if this is the same program A is using?

I haven't been commenting much, but I am soooo enjoying this TR!

Thank you!!!! I hope to keep you around for the next PTR!!!

Love the photos of the church especially. What a lucky girl.

Lovely Church. I was SO lucky to be able to go!

I took photography classes many years ago in school, but that was when everyone used film. Honestly, I forget most of what I learned anyway. I keep saying I am going to take more classes, but... I don't think I would be able to keep up with my memory issues these days.

OMG everything is so different from film!!! i had a nikon with film until 2007.
i took a few classes and i am still learning! I want a new camera... but i would rather go to Disney rather then spend the 1500 on a new body... I will stay with a Canon.

You all looked like you had so much fun. Love that you all enjoyed the rides!
Those stores are incredible.

We really did.. way over my expectations!!!

A PEEP STORE? My buddy HATES peeps, as in has a bit of a fear of them. THIS. IS. hysterical!!! I laughed so hard I LOVE your humor!!!!! totally something i would do!!! ya know they sell stuffies!!! HA HA HA! you could have a lot of fun with that...

hmmm next photo shoot.... A river? although, I do think cemetary would be a good guess.

:thumbsup2

This picture deserves it's own post.

This is my favorite of ALL TIME. Thinking this is going to become my business card and my border for my web sites...

________________________________________________________________

It was getting COLD so we called it a night. I hated to say goodbye to D~ wonderful family!!!
I know we will get together again. I hope sooner then later!
On our way back to the hotel D showed us their HUGE Fire Hall. Knowing i work for the city...

I don't know about you... But i keep thinking the scene from Dumbo with the clowns and the fire truck...

No wonder why D loves it SO SO MUCH!!!
Back at the hotel i started to pack.. :crazy2: we popped the bottle of wine Drank from our wine glasses, and just enjoyed one another for our last night together. Yes i did speak Whale to them..
i KNOW D has pictures to add here.
i wish we had remembered the paper bags.... NEXT TIME!

I don't remember what time we crashed out, or of what quotes we had. I am sure they will come up!!

I did leave out the airline stewards I think i will let Suzi tell that story Which has more quotes "LOVE YA MEAN IT"

The next morning we had everything together went for breakfast finished up the last of the packing. I am still wearing the Bubba sweatshirt. and did NOT take it off!!! i am sure it could have walked itself to the laundry room! :laundy: :lmao:

The short Drive to the airport Suzi wanted to sit int he back seat. She had enough front seat driving! :lmao: D insisted in parking and walking us in!

Remember i come from a LARGE city. Airports have TONS of people always busy etc. so walking into this airport was a little surreal felt like a Dean Koontz novel.. something just felt wrong.. :lmao: Suxi checked us in.
it took a while for them to figure out our flights... a long while...
Lot's o hugs and miss you already promises of seeing D again real soon we were off to security.

we stopped for drinks and COFFEE, found our gate to sit down! People amaze us. Why would they leave their luggage unattended while they go in search of a bathroom?!! :rotfl2: People are really weird.
before we knew it was time to board. Suzi has the window seat since i was able to have it on the way in.
I sat next to an older gentleman to refused to move to his side of the seat. So i pretty much sat on top of Suzi..
the flight wasn't bad. I read most of the way. faster then anything we were descending into Chicago Midway.
Suzi walked me as far as security we  said our goodbyes and again made promises of seeing each other again sooner then later! :sad1: I HATED leaving her there alone to wait for her next flight!!!! Knowing Tom was outside somewhere waiting for me with my MIDGETS!!!
down to baggage check my stuff was there in a blink of an eye! surprising..
Tom was waiting about 2 blocks down so had to haul everything down i was more fueled by excitement to see my children!!! i was there lickety split surrounded by my children big bear hugs and lots of kisses!!! no sooner i let go they asked which bag had their surprises in... :sad2:
Traffic was horrible. we took the long back back home and i received a text from Suzi.. Her flight was delayed!!! we have had some really horrible weather. I felt SO SO sorry for her and told her if she wanted me to come and get her i would be more then willing! Secretly i was kinda hoping her could stay a day in Chicago i understood wanting to get home and see family.
maybe 45 minutes later she was boarding.
I walking into this:

WELCOME HOME MOMMY!!! the dogs would NOT let me do a thing without just sitting on the ground and let them say hello. it became a nuisance after a while.. then again i was still wearing my Bubba sweatshirt which had MM smells on it! :dogdance:
i let them have their surprises I cannot find the pictures!!!
I will show these...
a happy Zack:

about to add our pins!

lots of pins...

Finished products:
Matt:

Zack:

Proud Meg:

They LOVED LOVED doing this. they are bugging me about our next trip also picking out the pins they want to trade.. wish we had pin trading around here...
the real life came booming back into my face! :woohoo:

I am excited to see Suzi and D thought and pictures here too...

Beautiful cemetery shots Having been raised in NY the cemetery was an ongoing subject of conversation Chiara knows the area We lived across from St Johns cemetery in Middle Village Queens My Dad & Uncle are laid to rest there along with various infamous mafia family types Gotti being the last I know of

A few miles away in another one lies Harry Houdini, this one is kind of weird as there is a bust of him above his grave and its facing out to a main road...people always expected he would "break out" over Halloween and he was planning the route Alot of families have mausoleums more intricate detail and more expensive than their home while alive Amazing photo ops

The statue of St Francis is nice He's my favorite too ...who would have guessed right? I have a small statue that is very special to me, its not the typical St Francis with the birds This one he is with a wolf and has his hand on his head very touching to me (Brother Wolf)

Your kids look like they had a great time arranging the pins and how wonderful the family reunion You do realize of course as I looked at each one I was scanning the pins looking for Pluto I was so up for a trade :rotfl:

So happy that you Suzi and D' had a great time always hard to say Good Bye so I don't I say So Long

Same here. Know a lot about it since my days of being a ghost hunter...

Oh I LOVE those pin boards! What a great idea!
:goodvibes

Wasn't it?!?!? She is so darn creative!!!! LOVE them!!!

Here you go Ghost Buster.....Apparently the bust of Harry Houdini has been vandalized and or stolen many times over the years I didn't know that so when I went searching to show you a picture I came across a link showing the installation of yet another bust
Pretty cool take a look:
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2551781433064.148523.1209726765&type=1&l=4f52185cb9

Ugh I CAN'T STAND THAT!!! people need to leave the stones ALONE!!! such disrespect!!!

So, I followed the link over here that D~ posted on Facebook and I spent the last week reading every post from the beginning instead of working like I should have been.

All I have to say is.........

WOW! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Mo, your children as sooo cute! I thoroughly enjoyed reading and am sad that it's already over.

I love cemeteries. My kids think I'm creepy. But, it was a nice place to reflect when my brother died. I found comfort there. My kids learned to ride bikes there (if noone was around) and then their cars. The one near us, with wide isles & many many rows, was perfect to learn to drive in.

Loved the cemetery pictures truly. The one where you said he was very photogenic. Oh my, you can truly read him, his worries, or sadness. amazing.

Yes, film photos are much different. And in some ways, I miss the old developing of negative films. I need to work on learning more. I enjoyed altering the photo's as I was developing it.

My humor is a little off sometimes, but we have fun.

Mo, I have to say I teared up at your home coming to your kids. I can't believe my triplets are 22 now. Does not seem possible so many years have flown by. I love to read how much you treasure them. :)

Thank you for sharing your adventures of MOA trip!

I cannot agree with you more on this. Comfort, peace, all the above when in a cemetery. my favorite of all time
Driving.. well i can say something but i will think better! LOL
