Where? Who? How? Photography? Help! Triplets take on the World!

OK - here I go... I think I have just enough time to type this out before Josh gets here from the airport with his uncle...

Yay company!

And I am sure I am over my images... So just pretend I am writing everything with a smiley. And so sorry Mo... Had to take some of your images out...

you could have removed more...

We are all Geminis - We seem to find all sorts of trouble. LOL YOu are more than welcome to join us - the more the merrier.

YES!!!! i can't agree more. more the merrier!!!:thumbsup2

Sorry - but Flip Flops are serious business... You can't buy crappy flip flops or you wreck your feet - so every pair must be tried on and checked for proper arch support. It's a fact.

just like i said to Suzi- it was a learning experience you cannot deny we went into every single shoe store for flip flops...

These are seriously the cutest shoes ever! These pictures do not do them justice... I may have to go back to that store and check the arch support - we should ahve all bought a pair.

OMG i cannot tell you how comfortable they really are! been working out everyday in them... then Dog training last night they were awesome!! :cloud9:

i really give them 5 stars!

Pulleeeeezzzeee... I can show you FAT ankles...

stop that... you did not, I have posted several pictures with your feet in them and you CLEARLY do NOT have kankles.

They TOTALLY DO make my foot look fat! I even had some people on FB tell me so... It's gotta be true then. ::yes::

OK Forest's shoes did make your feet fat and everyone else's too...

Love wine....

These turned out really cool... I don't think they look that awesome in real life?

they did... When you really get into photography you start to see everything threw a view finder!!!

These turned out great! It was so much fun to pose!

love to be silly!!!

We were too careful - promise!

matter of opinion.... :duck:

The decor here was awesome! Still love it...

Me too def need to go back there even for another dinghy!

I do have cup pictures... Somewhere...Here's one of them...

th_20130602_183654-1.jpg

i should have bought it... don't know what i was thinking...

Aha! Only one cup picture... But I do have these:

Mo's shoes were "smokin'"

20130531_122055.jpg

thanks now i have to clean my keyboard of coffee... Not nice D...:sad2:

Yes, Suzi - I think she has a tongue thing...

th_20130530_200843.jpg

(I turned it sideways just for you Mo...)

:lmao: ok so EACH of us has a lovely picture of our tongue. we are tongue-a-lish-ous

He just came because he missed me... LOL :lovestruc

Honest to God that is so sweet!!!

So, the deal with the chapel is that it's an actual chapel, people do get married there, but it books up fast (or used to anyways)... So, it's not just a "let's go to the MOA and get married" - it's a "I wanna get married at the MOA, so I need to book it this year if I want to get married there next year" type thing. I've never been to a wedding there - and I doubt I ever will...

well when i am ready for my tater wedding i will def be getting remarried there. You and Suzi will be my Matrons of Honor. can i get a themed wedding??

Nah... He was tired of the MOA. LOL

good I did not annoy the poor guy??? LOL

That was a cool store... I would totally wear anything there. GORGEOUS!

Totally agree! amazing store along with an Amazing woman!

Yah - that was some crappy weather... Glad we didn't have to walk... (cough, cough)

BAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

It was about 20 steps away form the hotel...

I did think about driving, but I was glad I didn't mention it when I noticed that there was an indoor walkway on the way back.

:rolleyes1

Nom, nom, nom.... That pretzel bread was TDF

I am sooooooooo craving it now

Yah - and I don't leave messages EVER...

totally her fault for not expecting our call...

I think you summed it up pretty well Mo... Still ROFLing though...

:thumbsup2

Those kind of did make my feet look fat...

NO THEY DID NOT! Feet do NOT LOOK FAT! Kankles make your foot fat and you DON'T HAVE them!

Why are we even having this conversation???

I love reading this too!

 I love reliving it, even more fun when you both are contributing!!

I agree - she is an amazing photographer! And she was kind enough to print some of it off for Suzi and I - she asked us our favorites, and now both of us have our favorite prints... She is amazing!

stoooooooooooooooop... i am not.

I still miss our old Disney Store... I used to spend sooooo much $$ there... Every time I went into that store, it was like being lost in WDW... If Disney would just bring back their old stores, they'd make a lot more $$. I dont' think I've spent a total of $50 since they remodeled the first time... And I'd spend triple that on every trip before.

i really wish they hadn't!!! i would have been broke going home...

See... Great idea!

all up for trip reports. as long as i have pictures to go along with them.. and greater quotes..

Lovin' this report Mo... I need to talk to my TA - to see how much it would cost to add you on to our trip...

D~

:worship:

i KNEW you would love the chicken.. i secretly bought him and will be delivered next week... :rotfl:

better be going to YOUR house and not MINE :rotfl:

Seriously do you not know ...just watch what you post around here or you get :tagged: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2969540&highlight=tag+fairy

i wish it was the old way i which D had described.. they would never had gotten me out of there!!! i spend lots of time in our stores here.. to the point the CM asked me if i wanted a job..
i did not buy the beanie... yet... i really want one of the muppet stuffies. i don't know which one yet. for photoshoots!!!!:rolleyes1 come on!! that would be awesome!
Gonzo thats a favorite muppet he's so cute we have a really old one kicking around here someplace...would never want another though this one has too many memories....later lady :wave2:

Thanks for the link D, I should be cleaning my house or something but I just sat here and read all the way through ;) What a fun trip!! I hardly ever go to the mall anymore since I've become addicted to Target, but I would love to go to MOA! I'm also addicted to flip flops, so that would have been AWESOME :cool1:

Great writing and pictures, I've really enjoyed it!

Thank you very much!!!

still want to try to get day 3 started here!!!

Gonzo thats a favorite muppet he's so cute we have a really old one kicking around here someplace...would never want another though this one has too many memories....later lady :wave2:

Lets just keep going here folks!
Day 3 SATURDAY!

what was in the plans you ask?
why the mall for more flip flopping good times!

Started our day back at our favorite breakfast spot in the hotel. watched a little more on the disaster in OK. and again said our wishes to those who need them.

Now that D and Suzi have been with me for a day and a half, they haven't ditched me. I figured i can bring something up without them thinking i was being rude or crass in anyway.
SO I brought up the Minnesotan/Maine ways of the English dialect.

YES they say abOOT... the more D was with us the more the OOT would disappear. It is there.. Thankfully there wasn't the ever popular YA HEY DAR.
:stir:
Suzi is soft spoken yet she annuciates her words, although, do not let this fool you. she has a wicked sense of humor and does it with a straight face.
I was thinking Suzi would have a Islanders accent, being from the Island of Maine and all, or even the Jamaican theme with all the bob marley going on.. (just kidding) Honestly more of a Boston accent. Nope.. AH-YA.. and i did learn the correct pronunciation of wicked SMAART... i have been using it ever since.
I LOVE THESE GIRLS!

Insert their thoughts on me now.. ;)
In which i had to explain i do work with- and- we do have the people who find it necessary to talk just like the godfather movies:
one two tree, or imma gonna, trow U thru da windoe we also end most sentences with a preposition like: "where's my coat at?"
Or spanish...... C...

Coming here i was expecting a much larger culture difference, as in we wouldn't be able to understand each other with the states accents. Have to text each other. SOOOOOO was NOT the case. the duration of the trip Suzi and i would have to repeat the OO from time to time..
I was hoping to see something different in regards of the urban mess i live in. The only big differences were we have a LOT more means of transportation, Buses, commuter trains etc. I LOVE going to different cities and comparing them to ChiGETTO. granted it was clean, no graffiti, etc. The birds were even the same.. I don't know maybe hoping to see a Moose walking down a street or SOMETHING.. nope.

alright alright.. back to the trip...
Jumped back into the car and drove to the mall.. yes... we drove to a couple of floors to ensure there weren't more the 3 cars in the lot...:rotfl2:

this may have been one of our funniest/silliest days. we wanted to hit a few of the stores we saw the day before and just play.. and play we did!
i had to back to the alpaca store. i bought my mom and Meg a stuffed alpaca made form their hair/fur. SO SOFT! back the store where we saw the drunk tee's so on...
upon walking in they were having a pine wood derby!

we didn't stay to see who won.
on our way this store was there:

remember that dry wit i said Suzi had? here is where it came out.
Suzi remarks how there is a LONG TALL SALLY but why isn't there store called a short stout Suzi??? :lmao: well that had us all in stitches!!!!
then we took a page out of KatMark book:

keeping in theme:

just in case i have:

yes it was advertised EVERYWHERE in the mall too!
Ok i do have to stop here.. Time for me to get back to the field! Boys baseball game!
i am sure you will have a great time posting!!!

I thought it was "wicked smaaat?" That must be my MN accent?

[Insert their thoughts on me now..

Don't forget we all googled "how to speak Minnesotan/Chicago-an/Mainer (or Islander - if you prefer)" and then we sat at our breakfast table much too long laughing at our own states and how we are soooo not like them. See - I talk just like I type... Yup - sound just like this. :scratchin

I think this is then were we talked about your "break area"... I was so excited to show you our city maintenance building... I knew you'd feel right at home once you saw it (getting a little ahead of myself here though...)

I thought it was "wicked smaaat?" That must be my MN accent?

You may be correct.. Suzi correct spelling please??

I really really did! Will post them soon,...

This also happened...

I walked down the street once while you were here. ::yes::

Good point well made.

This is important people... If you don't get a good spot when you are going to shop - then you aren't meant to be shopping... It's like rule #2, or something... Didn't anyone ever tell you that?

A good spot is VERY important!!! But here when you do get a good spot you end up not finding a darn thing. its a curse!

I thought it was "Short Squat Suzi?"

Again you are correct!! darn it...

ROFLMAO>>>> I am never going to be able to go to the MOA again with out a fit of laughter every time I turn a corner!

I bet! we have some fantastic memories!!

See... Suzi is soooo cute!!!

Not too worried about the lice thing. D~ kept assuring us it was a fluke advertisement!

Please explain the Pissa!?!?! I need to know!!! Yes I use the word wicked.. But i know how to say 1-2-3.. not tree! :lmao:

;) Dee I was thinking the EXACT same thing about the hats :lmao: and these silly women had already seen a Lice Lady BILLBOARD when they first arrived eeeewh :faint: need a shower Right Now !! :rotfl:

Not going to lie i itched a lot....

This is PURELY an urban myth perpetrated by B grade movies like Goodfellas that certain people from certain regions (esp Chicago/NY mobsters) cannot enunciate their words

SO my friend you BETTER not say :mic:1-2-tree unless you are telling us you are seeking shade under one OR are reading my all time favorite book "A Tree grows in Brooklyn" (named my oldest DD after the main character)

There I feel better now :snooty:

Ahhhhhh! computers too bad...sorry....:badpc::badpc::badpc:

Well. I had this entire post done and lost the whole thing. I am very upset right now and have to try to remember what i had done... I am really really :furious:
take 2:
After the hats and having a fun time laughing, we are just wandering around. YES still every few feet is a Flip flops store and yes we stopped.
I will be getting a pair of flip flops only because of the new found knowledge i have of them!
random shot:

Turned the corner and saw this store:

Do you REALLY need a store called Farm boy and Farm girl?!?!?!

i know you are eyed up my awesome new shoes!!! This is one of the stores i can GUARANTEE Chicago DOES NOT have.
Now it is time for a light lunch!!! Guess where?!?!

KOKOMOS!!!!

we had to return! Right up our alley! Poly/Keywest themed? Yes we are THERE! singing Tiki tiki room we were seated in a great spot!
Palm trees bight colors and of course:

DRINKS!!!! Nope didn't order anything from this menu...
Suzi and i were in the mood for little dinghy!!

yep you read that right.. and yes the jokes were flying yet nothing appropriate for the Dis!
I love this picture of D~!!! who had a lemonade? and of course water with aboot 8 lemons..

here is a really bad picture of a TREE not (3) just to get into the mood mon..

can they BE ANY more adorable???

after all this and i do NOT have a picture of food?!?!? really?!?! :sad2: we had Nachos, and a Polynesian bread thing... The nachos were more then disappointing. large bowl of chips with everything just thrown on top... NOTHING in the middle or bottom! smooch it around!!! again very disappointing.. BUT the poly bread was YUMMERS!
after our much needed break and more fun.. time to go to the restroom which of course was also adorably decorated! No pictures... and i had to leave my mark:

tried to talk D~ into adding her Bag address! couldn't do it!

Then time to smoke: cool pictures..

i don't know which one i like better:

Then we went back to Bubba Gump store! I had to! we are having SUCH a fun time in here and just being silly! I bought:
a key chain that said "my Ma'ma says i'm special" a shot-glass for husband (forest gump is his favorite movie) and the most AWESOME sweatshirt EVER:

I LOVE new sweatshirts! all soft and fluffy like wearing a teddy bear!!! :cloud9: walking up to the counter the more then helpful worker who was more then willing to join in on the fun decided to tell me for just a mere 5.00 more i can get a free drawstring backpack! 3 candy bars later I am the proud owner of a Drawstring backpack emblazoned with "Ma'ma says i'm special!!!
Don't hate...
now we are having too much fun in store we had to stop in the Betty Page store!!! I have to tell you i could GO FOR BROKE here!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Now we are at an all time silliness guess where we need to go???

just a concrete pole. always find the beauty in the ugly baby!!! :woohoo:

Where i left off is walking down to the amusement area! The whole area screams FUN!
First stop?

Lego Store!!!

All the "sculptures" were breathtaking! the amount of time that went into these!!!
I ended up getting the boys a race car and a 2 in 1 boat and helicopter!!! the car had a mechanism in it so when you pull it back it drives forward. I knew Zack would love it!! Matt would love it then ask his brother to put it together for him....
Suzi scored some fun stuff for Bradey too!!
time for PICTURES!

I am NOT a fan of Dora...

why does she find it necessary to SCREAM instead of talk in the cartoon?!?!?
CLEARLY we need to go on a ride.. or two...
First we went on this:
The orange Streak i was a little scared because they would NOT allow me to hold my camera and had to put it in this locker thing along with the bags!!! :scared1: did i mention the wait time was about 3 minutes??
we take the last car... Why??? Cuz it's the cool thing to do! We are the coolest kids there!
Suzi in the back then D~ and ME! OFF WE WENT!!!!!!! Screaming around the park. This ride was really cool because the track really did go ALL Around the entire amusement park. we were able to see everything.. i really wish i had my camera.. if your insatiable desire is to relive our amazing ride... go google it.
:cool2:
Did you Google it??? looks fun right??? totally was.
Had to reload some ticket/bracelet thing............ Next?

LOG FLUME!!!!!!
Going into line was kind of reminded us of a less impressive Thunder/Splash Mountain! so we needed to bring up the fun!!! laughing and singing like a bunch of teenagers! Well ya know we just turned 29!!! Just acting our ages... we have found our laughing place... literally...
we talked about going to Disney together and a possible quick Disney trip soon! Once we made it to the top i had noticed how the guy in the BACK wasn't so wet... and the person in the front.. well..... not so much.
OUR TURN! i RUN to the back of the flume...
We have to bring our bags! :scared1: Time to hide the camera so it isn't going to get soaked. The flume itself is drenched!!! I'm in the back, D~ in the middle and lucky Suzi is in front!!! popcorn::
Off we go.. once we hit the water the log decides it wants to tip one way or the other. D~ announces we HAVE TO stay seated in the MIDDLE! OK log is back on track.. no more tipping..
Until the drop… SPLASH… it was a B.I.G. splash.. Had nothing to do with the fact most of the weight was me in the back.. Na ugh… Then out of NO WHERE Paul Bunyan with his 105 foot blue OX looms over us like and we are the snack of the afternoon! D~ was holding onto the seat in front of her in a massive death grip white knuckled almost broke the poor seat in half. Not exaggerating in the least…
Getting out of the log proved ummm interesting to try to get out of…
My Bubba gump bag is wet and handle is broken! I CANNOT stop cracking up at this point. I don’t know if my camera is OK. But nothing matters at this point I am DOUBLED over laughing.. :rotfl2:Poor Suzi is soaked to the bone. D and her death grip. Tears are now pouring out of my eyes I cannot stop laughing.. I don’t know how I made it over into the exit area.. but I am almost ROLLING around on the ground with peals of laughter!
Now we are outside the ride found a bench to reorder our bags. Yes I am still giggling. Bags repacked camera is perfect. I’m still having shocks of amusement where I have to stop walking to gather myself together once again…
Time has gotten away from us we needed to head back to the hotel drop off our new stuff and head over to D~ house for the BBQ!!!

OmGoodness...I can just see you ladies acting all crazy like the teenagers that run and laugh at Disney World...just completely oblivious to whatever else may be going on around you....sounds like you lived in the moment! Love it! :goodvibes
