I would have to agree - Suzi is SOOOO Amazing - both of you are!!! It was so much fun meeting you both, and I can't believe it's over... Sooo sad!

i know which means we have to start planning another one!!!

The gifts were awesome!!! V already has pins in her pin board - that was really such a thoughtful gift - they will get tons of use here!

My salt water taffy is gone. Once I told the girls to "try a piece" - they took that as "eat the rest"... That is the best darn saltwater taffy EVER = BIG heart smiley!!!

And the beverage cups you and the kids made - super cute too!!! The girls are still wearing their bracelets that Meg made for them... I just love that! YOu will have to tell her they are a big hit!

Yep, that's the one. So let me share with you all a little tid-bit. I kinda sorta knew what Mo looked like from pics on here and FB, but those were usually head shots and she usually isn't in her pictures...usually behind the camera. So I thought I had a good idea. I forgot to ask here which lane she was in coming through security, so I was just walking by them all looking for her. I spotted a lady I thought was her over on the far left. So I sat there and waited to pounce. Thankfully...I caught movement out of the corner of my eye when another woman walked out of security. THAT WAS MO! Thank goodness she walked out before that other lady or I would've ran up to a real stranger and hugged them. But just in time I spotted Mo. And we had a passerby snap a couple of meeting pics to text to D.

She loves me... Because she gave me the window seat!

Suzi still either texting or talking to D~ is NOT paying any attention to me. Security looks at me i look at them.. they (yes 2 of them) know i am joking and i tell them... SHE DID IT!!!

Seriously folks....she tried to have me detained and searched! Here I was, walking along minding my own business when I hear the security guy say "It was her??! This one?? Causing trouble??" Of course...innocent me....I'm looking all over to see who the bad guy was. Then I realize they are talking about me! Thankfully, Mo started smiling, or I would've been a little scared. And poor D.....all she sees is us being approached by security, but is too far away to hear it all. She just shakes her head. Seriously think she would've left us....walked right out the doors and never returned "hmmm, I don't know why Mo and Suzi didn't show up at the airport....I waited for them and everything..." Yeah, totally would've thrown us to the wolves and left

Oh that is an awful picture of my yummy burger. See folks...I don't do onions. So a mexican place created some challenges for me. But my burger was delish. I just wish I had felt better. My tummy gave me trouble all weekend D and Mo probably think I am a hypochondriac! But honestly....Chevy's was an amazing place and I would go back again in a heartbeat!

When you start planning the next meet, you need to plan it for Chicago! I will find SOME way to make it to the next one, I will I tell you! Our finances got freed up again RIGHT BEFORE the MOA Dismeet...it figures.

Good Morning all!

First want to wish KatMark a safe flight and a GREAT DISNEY TRIP!!!! ​

After our MUCH need sleep well D and I slept. Suzi not so much.
NO IT WASN'T me.....

I had showered the night before... Let me tell you Minnesota water does NOT agree with my hair!!! i have VERY thick and long hair... when i looked in the mirror i made "what about mary" look like the prom queen.. took me a while to tone it down... It was time for Breakfast! What a pleasant surprise when we walked in! they had pastries, potatoes, eggs, English muffins, several cereals, Coffee, cranberry juice.. i am sure i am missing stuff.
It was good!!! oh course a lot more laughing!!!
back upstairs to get ready for our first glimpse of MALL OF AMERICA!
Which is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET... we drove. Wanted to get there early to..... of course... take pictures!! getting to the parking lot D didn't like the one level because there were... what??? 6 cars? it was packed according to D. so we drove to another lot that only had 3 cars. Much to her satisfaction of the nonexistent vehicles we parked.

I have an "internet meet" story to tell too - I belong to an online quilting group and I was going to my very first "quilt camp" in the Memphis area. We were staying at a local hotel and sharing rooms to cut down on the cost. I agreed to share with "Fernie" but we had only ever "met" online. Her kids were very concerned that she was going to be staying with someone she met online and kept saying "suppose she is an ax murderer?" So the first thing Fernie asked was if I was an ax murderer - we still joke about it. I have to say that I've met some wonderful people through my quilting group and we still get together once or twice a year!

So glad you three had a great time!

OK who's hungry?!? WE ARE!!! heading over to Rain Forest Cafe. Suzi has never been, i was CRAVING their buffalo Chicken salad. D wanted the same and Suzi got a burger!

yeah! that's ME in the picture. Our more then exuberant waiter took it. He was very accommodating yet.. after sending the first salads back they were Cobb salad.. Does that sound like B.U.F.F.A.L.O to you? this is what you get from ordering something no longer on the menu. take 2:

looks good right? there is something missing... B.U.F.F.A.L.O sauce.
Now we have to ask for BUFFALO sauce. We finish half our salads the sauce came. FINALLY.. Then it was yummy.

How truly disappointing about the Disney store! Ours is an outlet, so there is no "ambience" whatsoever....but they have really cheap Disney merch, so there's that.

Um, didn't know Suzi was having a love affair with Perry... Don't worry Suzi, I won't tell your DH. Hey, you should really let Mo have it. It should be that what happens at MOA stays at MOA, you know? Guess I had better watch my back when I finally meet her...she and her camera are TROUBLE!

NO IT WASN'T me.....

No it wasn't you...you were a great room buddy... (well other than being woken up every morning by either a sneezing phone or Chewbacca) It was the AC that kept going on and off. I am a very light sleeper and need background noise. When the AC shut off it woke me up every single time. We fixed it after that first night and just put it on fan. It was cool enough I think, and I slept much better in those really comfy beds after that.

It was time for Breakfast! What a pleasant surprise when we walked in!

It really was a great spread. And just a little different every day so we didn't get bored. I was really really impressed with this hotel. Will stay there again next time for sure!

Pictures just don't do this justice! It was amazing....3 rollercoasters, log flume, ferris wheel, etc etc etc! So neat to have an indoor amusement park...bad weather, winter, no matter what you can have fun.
