Alrighty Mo - you have just earned yourself the title "official TR writer" - Suzi and I don't have to do a thing - you can write it all...

Soooo... Me thinks.... You should come on down to WDW in Aug... Follow Suzi and I around all week - take pictures of us - take notes of what we do... Then when we come home, you can write our TRs. I really think this would work out perfectly for everyone involved.

Oh golly... I don't think that guy knew what BUFFALO sauce was... After all that work "marinating" the chicken IN the BUFFALO sauce... It came to us with NO BUFFALO sauce at all... It was so comical after a while - you just had to laugh. And the funniest part is that he didn't even have a clue it was missing in the first place. LOL

[Now that D~'s glasses had been embedded into her head he brought us a cupcake for our birthdays!

Right??? I still have a lump on the top of my head where he smushed them into it... Us Minnesotans always look on the bright side of things though - and at least that lump holds my glasses up there nice and snug.

[Suzi and i declined on the sugary goodness BUT:

Ok... no offense to the Disney store powers that be. Yet... This was less impressive then what i was imagining. Kind of shocked and dismayed the great and mighty Mall of America had a small and weak Disney store!!! very small not so decorated not much to play with...

I told ya it was very "underwhelming" and sort of sucky... Especially when you think "oooh the MOA - it has everything wonderful...." Um.... NOT the Disney Store, that's for sure.

Love those chandeliers! I can honestly say that I have never seen them before... This must be your "look up" advice? I never look up - I need to learn... I am missing out on half the world around me.

[No it wasn't you...you were a great room buddy... (well other than being woken up every morning by either a sneezing phone or Chewbacca) It was the AC that kept going on and off. I am a very light sleeper and need background noise. When the AC shut off it woke me up every single time. We fixed it after that first night and just put it on fan. It was cool enough I think, and I slept much better in those really comfy beds after that.

That was probably me... My snoring sounds an awful lot like a combination of Sneezing/Chewbacca... So, I've been told...

[It really was a great spread. And just a little different every day so we didn't get bored. I was really really impressed with this hotel. Will stay there again next time for sure!

I was very impressed too... I was a little bummed on our last day - they didn't have any more sausages, those thingies were good.

Pictures just don't do this justice! It was amazing....3 rollercoasters, log flume, ferris wheel, etc etc etc! So neat to have an indoor amusement park...bad weather, winter, no matter what you can have fun.

Meh... It's an amusement park - with a roof... But it was so much fun with you guys.

How truly disappointing about the Disney store! Ours is an outlet, so there is no "ambience" whatsoever....but they have really cheap Disney merch, so there's that.

It did look just like any other Disney store. it's still Disney and still love walking around in there!!! Especially walking around with fellow Dis-nuts!

Um, didn't know Suzi was having a love affair with Perry... Don't worry Suzi, I won't tell your DH. Hey, you should really let Mo have it. It should be that what happens at MOA stays at MOA, you know? Guess I had better watch my back when I finally meet her...she and her camera are TROUBLE!

Oh Yes Suzi is a huge Perry fan and Dory! No secrets when it comes to our Dis people just the outside world. they wouldn't understand!

I cannot believe i have a part 4 of the second day.

I really need to tell you people something... I know more about Flip Flops then i do about Disney at this point. we went into EVERY SINGLE shoe store for FLIP FLOPS... I love shoes as much as the next girl. BUT OH MY LORD OF THE RINGS.

OK back on track: I believe we went into foot locker...
the one thing i actually needed were GYM shoes. How do you all say Gym shoes? tennies? sneakers? well here in Chicago we call them GYM SHOES... I found the exact same pair i was wearing.. BOY OH BOY looking at the new ones and compare them to the ones i was wearing? YEESH! ucky.
I almost bought the same ones until i was able to pull D & Suzi away from yet more flip flops. They talked me into these:


I WUB dem... There is a duel purpose for this photo... 1 to show off really cute and most comfortable GYM shoes ever. 2. Do you see how SWOLLEN my ankles are??? HOLY GUACAMOLE! I need water.. STAT! I also purchased new socks. A rule in life. New shoes? New socks.

We stopped at some point because my knees were about to pop. Found a bench and sat, i was admiring my new shoes, i had bought the kids some stuff at the Minnesota store too.. Suzi will have to intervene here.. and her purchases...

D~ received a text from her Hubby, asked where we were and what we were looking at...
Lo and Behold HE FOUND US!!! I have to say i thought it was the kindest sweetest gesture! He came to make sure D~ was safe and we were not the murderous internet freaks you hear about on the news..
How sweet is that??? Tom would have left me to the dogs. with the thought process of it was her decision to go and meet complete strangers she met on the DIS. after being introduced and chatting it up we were off too.......... Guess what?!?!




MORE FLIP FLOPS... this became the main focus of the day.

What's that about? hey honey we have been walking the mall for 7 hours. I feel like we know each other so much more and have grown so much closer shopping. Let get married!
Well they have it all there in case you do decide to get married in a fit of shopping delirium.. Lingerie, jewelry, dress shops . If you do please let me know.. i'd love to be there.

I believe D~ hubby tired of us, and was satisfied we were not the murderous scandals and went home..

then came the ever popular running joke of Maine being an island. mos thte conversation is escaping me except one part....
Suzi is telling us about Bob Marley. you all know who he is right? One love? reggae phenomenon (Do doo be-do-do Mahna MahnaDo do-do do) dread locks and all is love wisdom? Suzi tell us "how funny we have to hear this it's a little raunchy" Bob Marley is.. D~ and i now are VERY CONFUSED.. Bob Marley is Jamaican.. JAMAICAN ISLAND... NOOOOOOOOOOOO
there is a comedian from Maine named Bob Marley.. OHHHHHHH insert the smilie guy slapping himself in the head...
Hence where Bob Marley is from the island of Maine... was born.
I KNOW there was a lot more said i did NOT want to forget it all but we were in a FIT of laughter... I really hope you guys remember more of what went on here.

i did NOT shower at night this time in fear of waking up worse. we watched the disaster going on in OK. and sent out best wishes to those who needed it most. Fell asleep with Bob Marley singing about one love and a lobster,

Oh my gosh, Mo! You are quite a photographer!! I absolutely love the "looking up" shots. I tend to look up too, so I totally get that. One of my favorite Christmas movies is Silver Bells and there's a photographer in there that gets people to "look up". Very very cool.

I would take that Disney store over the one here...since it closed several years ago! I miss just wallowing in the plush toys.

I love the pics of the shoes and the food. I absolutely love mini golf, so would have definitely tried it out. Looks like a lot of fun. So does the amusement park. It would be quite a novelty. Is it noisy? I would think it would be since it's all enclosed.

You're doing a great job on the report. I think it's a good idea to follow people and do their trip reports. Or, you could just have them pay your way down, do your own thing and make stuff up bout their trip. I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

I love the pics of the shoes and the food. I absolutely love mini golf, so would have definitely tried it out. Looks like a lot of fun. So does the amusement park. It would be quite a novelty. Is it noisy? I would think it would be since it's all enclosed.

Believe it or not it is very quite in the mall.. even in the heart of the park area it wasn't bad!

You're doing a great job on the report. I think it's a good idea to follow people and do their trip reports. Or, you could just have them pay your way down, do your own thing and make stuff up bout their trip. I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

I think you might be exaggerating a tad on the flip flops....there were shoe stores, yes. We went in them, yes. But it was not a conspiracy to find flip flops....neither of us bought any, right?

I really didn't buy that much. I bought a cute little plaid skort at CBanks because it was half off! I bought Bradey some Legos and the pressed pennies. I bought Lindt and Peeps candy....and my Tervis. Sorry, I don't have a pic of it to share...will get one tonight. (I am at work right now...shhhh don't tell the boss).

I have to say i thought it was the kindest sweetest gesture! He came to make sure D~ was safe and we were not the murderous internet freaks you hear about on the news..

But really, if he was honestly checking to make sure we weren't ax murderers....wouldn't he have checked the night before? Not very nice of him to let his wife sleep with us for a night, then check in the morning

I have an "internet meet" story to tell too - I belong to an online quilting group and I was going to my very first "quilt camp" in the Memphis area. We were staying at a local hotel and sharing rooms to cut down on the cost. I agreed to share with "Fernie" but we had only ever "met" online. Her kids were very concerned that she was going to be staying with someone she met online and kept saying "suppose she is an ax murderer?" So the first thing Fernie asked was if I was an ax murderer - we still joke about it. I have to say that I've met some wonderful people through my quilting group and we still get together once or twice a year!

So glad you three had a great time!

anyone remember the old I Love Lucy show where Lucy & Ethel were going to hitch-hike to Ca I think it was and they ended up with a lady they thought was an ax murderer and she having heard the news report thought Lucy & Ethel were ax murderers ?? I cannot believe i have a part 4 of the second day.

I really need to tell you people something... I know more about Flip Flops then i do about Disney at this point. we went into EVERY SINGLE shoe store for FLIP FLOPS... I love shoes as much as the next girl. BUT OH MY LORD OF THE RINGS.

Sorry - but Flip Flops are serious business... You can't buy crappy flip flops or you wreck your feet - so every pair must be tried on and checked for proper arch support. It's a fact.

[OK back on track: I believe we went into foot locker...
the one thing i actually needed were GYM shoes. How do you all say Gym shoes? tennies? sneakers? well here in Chicago we call them GYM SHOES... I found the exact same pair i was wearing.. BOY OH BOY looking at the new ones and compare them to the ones i was wearing? YEESH! ucky.
I almost bought the same ones until i was able to pull D & Suzi away from yet more flip flops. They talked me into these:

What's that about? hey honey we have been walking the mall for 7 hours. I feel like we know each other so much more and have grown so much closer shopping. Let get married!
Well they have it all there in case you do decide to get married in a fit of shopping delirium.. Lingerie, jewelry, dress shops:. If you do please let me know.. i'd love to be there.

So, the deal with the chapel is that it's an actual chapel, people do get married there, but it books up fast (or used to anyways)... So, it's not just a "let's go to the MOA and get married" - it's a "I wanna get married at the MOA, so I need to book it this year if I want to get married there next year" type thing. I've never been to a wedding there - and I doubt I ever will...

I believe D~ hubby tired of us, and was satisfied we were not the murderous scandals and went home..

Nah... He was tired of the MOA. LOL

then we saw: THIS my friends was the COOLEST store there is:

Oh my gosh, Mo! You are quite a photographer!! I absolutely love the "looking up" shots. I tend to look up too, so I totally get that. One of my favorite Christmas movies is Silver Bells and there's a photographer in there that gets people to "look up". Very very cool.

I agree - she is an amazing photographer! And she was kind enough to print some of it off for Suzi and I - she asked us our favorites, and now both of us have our favorite prints... She is amazing!

I would take that Disney store over the one here...since it closed several years ago! I miss just wallowing in the plush toys.

I still miss our old Disney Store... I used to spend sooooo much $$ there... Every time I went into that store, it was like being lost in WDW... If Disney would just bring back their old stores, they'd make a lot more $$. I dont' think I've spent a total of $50 since they remodeled the first time... And I'd spend triple that on every trip before.

It's not very noisy at all - not as bad as you'd think anyways. They do a lot of stuff with in the mall to keep the noise down - lots of noise reduction stuff that you don't notice.
