While you look at these few, maybe the music will let you think you are in the queue at Splash, that's where it is from....


When I visited the World this past weekend, in addition to the anticipated (and I might add, delivered as expected) heat and humidity , I was also expecting wall to wall people, the summer crowds. I did ask here when to do my Epcot and MK days and was told to do Epcot on Saturday, MK on Sunday. I did, along with an MK E-night on Friday and MGM on Monday. Very little crowds. Most were during the 3 PM parade at MK, always a good turnout for that. Check out these few pictures, from all three parks, BW and a couple resorts, not bad at all.....and oh so nice and so much fun.

Love it! Love the pics! Love that you had a good time and that there were little crowds (I swear by the plan on doing Epcot on a Saturday)...I can just sense the humidity by looking at the cloud cover in the pic of Main St train station...blech...thanks for sharing the pics Dan!

We also were at Epcot on Saturday from about 12:00-3:00. I told dh when the monorail pulled up that it didn't look like anyone was at Epcot. I couldn't believe it! We covered quite a bit of territory in 3 hours and the kids got to see alot of the shows.

Lets see, seeing you avoided MK on Saturday, I am SURE that is where they all were. We were smart, we went to Epcot where there was no-one. Did you go to MK on Sunday, if so, everyone was going back home than.

Great pictures, Dan. It sure seems strange to see the parks that uncrowded at this time of year. I've never been to the World when it wasn't crowded, so I am used to crowds. Glad you had a nice time.

Step, I would plan on it being crowded, I know I had planned on it, expected it to be. Reason for showing the pictures here is it was not. But everyting I have read would say the parks, travel industry, theme park industry hav pretty much fully recovered from it doldrums, post 9/11 and poorer economy. Eveything is pretty much up and running, regular, or even extra hours. E-hights are a thing to consider. I did that on Friday, it was GREAT. Again, I took the suggestion here from the DIS folks to do Epcot on Sat, MK on Sun. And I did an E-night on Fri. Good luck, enjoy, I am sure you'll do great, it is WDW!!!!!
